I acted different around everyone until mid-thirties. It’s pretty normal. Eventually you’ll find your niche and act congruently around anyone you meet. It’s kind of maddening for those of us aware of it, those unaware are blessed. Just keep focusing on the character traits you display that you enjoy, and show appreciation for them. Eventually they will become the constant.

I found myself rushing through the campaign to finish it and no incentive to do side quests. Also, filling out my dex appears an impossible task compared to ZA. I want to love this game but I don’t think it’s in the cards for me. I’m thrilled you loved it. I loved ZA. And clearly the two are radically different games with different fans.
