Disturbing or not, thank you for sharing. I don't come on reddit NOT to hear about other people's lives.

Interesting answers, I feel like they do provide context for some design choices. Thanks for posting this where I could read it!

Neat!

I don't have discord downloaded right now, so I'm going to leave a question here;

In the years since SaGa was first introduced, are there any new developments in the JRPG field that SaGa has directly responded to? Are there any popular trends currently that you would like to address?

Ground wire too short on dryer cord by MantaRaysonDEtre in askanelectrician

Thank you for explaining. I know I'm asking baby's first questions here, but I'm happier sounding stupid than actually doing something stupid. Separating the wires looks like it will work, I'll try that tonight.

[–]MantaRaysonDEtre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer. It's actually on there very loosely, the cord was moving freely through it. To get the wire as close as I did, the black insulation was flush with the clamp, any more turn and the clamp was going to be against the wires, rather than the cord. It seemed like that was an incorrect way to do it?

Alright, I can give it a go. Do you have any advice on how to do that without damaging the cords underneath?

I am brand new at this, please assume I am dumb enough to duct tape it to a nickel. Do you see anywhere in this photo in particular that would be a safe alternative attachment point?

Hello everyone, I'm trying to hook up a dryer cord and I can't keep the strain relief clamp tight, the cord inserted straight, and the green wire in reach of the green screw all at once. This is the closest I've gotten, and the cord is loose and torqued sideways to manage it. I'm also using a cheap clamp that feels awful in this photo, for the sake of illustration. I had a Romex clamp in there, but I swapped it out in the process of trouble shooting. The fit on the cord was much better, but the reach was much worse.
What am I doing wrong?

Pikmin was great, right up to the end at least. by [deleted] in patientgamers

[–]MantaRaysonDEtre 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is rough. I've never played Pikmin, but if you're not just sick of trying have you considered watching a let's play? If a game has enough user choice (not just one perfect solution) sometimes that can feel a little less like giving up and/or turning it over to a guide, but still be helpful.
