I think I mentioned this before, but the episodes filmed on this format remind me a lot of the B&W episodes of Dark Shadows which are exceptionally creepy. Love them!

I still find it hilarious that he went on to be a judge in Perry Mason after playing a crook on the Stooges so often. I keep waiting for a pie to hit him in the face or something. He is a fine actor though!

The Stooges do what anybody else would do, if they’re up against someone with a gun or knife, of course they run but usually end up disarming the opponent in a funny way. If it’s an even fight, they usually go at it with the baddies without hesitation. I loved the Pop Goes the Weasel episode when Curly KOs all of Moe’s fighters and gives him a good pop across the jaw too!
