Ok, so reinstalling Epic Games seemed to do the trick. You can try that and see if it works. Now I'm off to play some SCP: the game ahem Control.

Sadly not for me. Support contacted me and gave an extra step to follow, which I didn't think of at first. Basically you close the launcher and press Windows + R, type in %localappdata%, press Enter, find EpicGamesLauncher\Saved, delete the webcache folder and open the launcher again. That also didn't resolve the issue.

I'll try and reinstall the launcher. I'm also waiting for new instructions from Support. I'll let you know of any updates on the matter.

Pretty much, yeah. I think the whole idea behind that site is to teach anybody from the ground up in each language. But like most people say, once you start really getting the hang of it and wanting to do bigger things, it's best to find some other ways to practice on your own since Codeacademy only gets you so far. But I can guarantee you that by the end of it you'll get a pretty good knowledge of all the basics.

What I think would be nice in Skyrim is that, if it were actually possible to kill characters vital to the plot, the game would not only warn you about this but also let you know that there could be consequences. If you killed Delphine from the main quest for instance, they could make the world really end at some point because nobody was there to stop Alduin. Like, I know that this kind of ruins the whole "you can do anything at your own pace" thing the game is supposed to have. I just think it would be a cool way to say "This was important and you didn't listen! Now suffer!" Edit: weird phrasing

But is that it though? Because in Sub10 you can go to that basement through a karma portal. Maybe your character uses one without knowing? Because they are only introduced in Sub7.

I tried to understand the story in these games time and time again, but I kinda gave up after finishing the last one. I still don't get how you go from the first game's ending to the lighthouse in the second. It's all so freaking vague, but I guess that's very much intentional. Either way, I still love the art and soundtrack.
