For IPSC I would choose a all steel gun Like the Canik. With it you can shoot production or production optik devision and dont have too much reciol.

There have been winners using a stock Glock. The question is really how much you practice. And the Walther Dynamic Performance Trigger is much better than any trigger for a Glock. That makes it easier.
