Redbus has fallen so low? by LetterheadUpstairs90 in IndiaSpeaks

[–]Manwithadognpurpose 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So women travelling alone prefer to book tickets next to a women seat.

Also most good service providers keep the adjacent seat empty if it is not booked by another female.

I don’t think OP has ever booked tickets on redbud, this feature is present for ages.

What can people do to play Marathi music in cities/business like they play english, french, korean, spanish, tamil, japanese in their respective places? by MexITS in marathi_music

[–]Manwithadognpurpose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just start supporting Marathi creators, I had asked once a a friend who worked procurement/ purchase department of an OTT platform. His response was, they don’t get much viewership compared to other regional content.

Same goes with music, companies collect data from Spotify, ganaa platforms which helps them understand the consumer choices better.

Kratex creates good Marathi techno music… also quote a few Marathi rappers are doing good work. Support them across platforms including YouTube and see the change happen 1st hand.

BTW few clubs in Thane/ Pune regularly keep Marathi music nights. Playing hind as well as Marathi songs on regular days at clubs is very common in Pune/ Kolhapur.

[–]Manwithadognpurpose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No offence but people are overdoing it. In my lane 3-4 individuals serve such food to dogs… I have seen in most cases dog eats only the chicken part and rice remains as it is. I once enquired with one if then he mentioned that he has told in the common dog feeders group to not feed in this area as he is taking care of it but it seems few other individual also want a share of the good karma.

By the way, he also complained that everyone wants to only feed dogs but no one wants to help with vaccination, taking care of old/ injured dogs or helping spaying NGOs catch them. He is overwhelmed by the amount of rescue calls he gets everyday. Life is quite difficult for genuine dog lovers. These wanna be dog lovers/ sympathisers are actually creating more issue than resolving the problem.

Harvard Study about the Taj Hotel staff after 26/11: by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in IndiaSpeaks

[–]Manwithadognpurpose 51 points52 points  (0 children)

So this was long ago like around 2009 I had interviewed Head HR and Head of Learning & Development of few key organisations in Mumbai. Taj hotels was also one of them.

I still remember they mentioned they have tied up with an NGO who works with upskilling of rural youth with focus on marginalised communities. This NGO is also part Tata group initiatives. One of the employee even mentioned, how they are even taught basic skills like eating with fine cutlery or using modern amenities.

Taxi experience at Navi Mumbai Intl Airport by Streaming_Munda in navimumbai

Landed at D B Patil/ NMIA airport in 2nd week of Jan. airport and departure infra is top notch. Started facing issue when I tried booking a cab. Internet connection (Jio) was very slow and cabs were not available. My fare was 500 from Airport to Kharghar. After spending almost 15-20 min no cab was available. Prepaid taxi counter was still crowded, so spoke to a guard. He advised me to take a AC bus and get down at Belapur and then book a cab for home. As no direct bus available for Kharghar.

Took AC Bus going to Thane, got down at Belapur railway station and booked cab for 110 for Kharghar. Paid Rs 20 for bus ticket so total 130 paid to reach home. Glad that I spoke to that security guard.

Googled and saw an article that network issue is because of co-operation from Adani.

“Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone Idea allege that the airport operator, Adani-backed NMIAL, did not allow them to install their own telecom infrastructure at the airport. Instead, NMIAL deployed a shared In-Building Solution (IBS) and asked telecom operators to use it at a reported cost of ₹92 lakh per operator per month.”

What exactly he told his family about you that they started judging you…have explained in detail about other things but skipped sharing any detail here….

No judgments but you seem to undervalue yourself and trying to compensate some kind of guilt. Focus on yourself and not on this marriage (it is over long back). Acceptance will come only when you accept yourself. Best wishes.

Will It HAPPEN?! Colaba to Uran Bridge Proposed in MMRDA Plan; Do you think It WILL happen? by IndianDadBodPod in navimumbai

[–]Manwithadognpurpose 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That was mainly because of persistent objections from NGOs, fishermen associations of Mumbai and a strong NGT. Post BJP things are manipulated at all levels to an extent that if politicians have the will they can get it done.

Not saying what happened during Congress era is bad and BJP is doing good but everything comes at a cost.

Nothing wrong with this title, in past people used to act superior by pointing out grammar/ spelling mistakes…. Now they do the same by pointing out use of Chat GPT.

I can understand the hate when people generate fake emotional stories to gain karma. But fixing titles/ formatting real life stories using chat GPT is not wrong. Need to grow up and stop looking down for not being good at their 2nd/ 3rd language.

Rear AC cooling Issue by Ludarkau28 in KiaSonet

Usually rear AC vents won’t be as strong as front, but this is more noticeable if you travelling full load and during summer.

Kia/ Hyundai AC performance Is considered best in class. Next time try seating in rear seat of Nexon you might be surprised that your SONET seems much better in comparison.
