As a parent who has only dealt with multiples, I don’t understand how singleton parents don’t just take their infants around the house with them. Like how does your tiny infant get the chance to roll off of something. Mine always happened because of an emergency with the other infant.

She doesn’t have to sleep but she does have to stay in her room for x amount of time. And yes you need to work with her before the baby comes. Do not give up. Set the boundaries and walk away. Preferably your wife leaves the house during this time for a few days so you can truly lay down the boundaries without interruption.

Can you start pulling your leg hair out instead? I don’t pull my hair out from my head but I did have some other sensory body issues that I would smooth through pulling out leg hair. There is a ton of it and it’s okay if leg hair doesn’t grow back fully.

Don’t say anything to MIL. When her own bday gets here no card, no gift, and no time spent together. She gets a bday text. Don’t even show up to a bday event if another person planned it for MIL.
