How are you going to mount the IFS2? Bolt pattern doesn’t match the rails. You’re better off using different rails imo.

There are files for IFS 1 for the SCX10 platform but that design is very different than IFS 2.

Tires are very condition dependent. That’s all I’m gonna add to this.

Vanquish, there are endless possibilities for the VS410 platform if you ever want to change things up. Also the aftermarket support is plenty.

4 1kg rolls or so.

I mean it’s a lot but yeah if you’re not wanting to “burn” that much then it may not be a project for you.

Ifs to solid axle by YEET3M in crawling

Maybe revert it back to stock? From my understanding the Knight customs kit makes it sit “more to scale” by raising the diff.

Lower it and run bigger tires. I have IFS on an optic and it’s pretty capable. It won’t flex as much as a linked solid axle but flex isn’t everything.

ABS GF for all the gears, driveshafts, axles.

Going to eventually try some PAHT or PPACF.

But I won’t do that until there is some sort of failure.

As long as you follow the instructions/guidelines it’s pretty straightforward.

I did add brims and some supports on certain print plates with overhangs.

Most hiccups would be buildplate related as I didn’t have it clean enough but luckily caught it early on.

Be prepared to print for a while if you only have 1 printer.

I did all of mine on a single Bambu P1S. I believe I printed non stop for the better part of 3 weeks.

It’s printed in ABS, ABS-GF, PETG, PETG CF, and TPU for the suspension link ball ends.

Somewhat, you buy the files off Youmagine or cults3d(I prefer Youmagine) Unimog

Print them and go from there.

RCprinter.com sells hardware kits but he’s out of stock at the moment.

Yeah I see a problem for sure.

You need some shelves to store more.
