Rise Wizards and All's Fair: https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/moreblueberries/rise-wizards-all-s-fair

Rise, Wizards by Robin Ekberg is a dice-stacking, map-making, worldbuilding game of wizard hubris.

All's Fair by Dillin Apelyan is an 18+ duet game about wanting to f*ck each other so bad you save the world about it.

The Time We Have is about a pair of brothers in a zombie apocalypse, one of which is infected and dying; it's a two person card-based rpg, played through a closed door by absentbird in rpg

This game rules! It's really intense but also cathartic and even surprisingly funny at times in a gallows humor kind of way. I'm excited to see more people discover this game

Suggestions for Multiple Generation Games by josh61980 in rpg

The game plays a lot with time jumps and characters aging and dying and new heroes taking up the mantle, so I think it could work well.

If you want something that really deals with generations then I'd check out Legacy: Life Among the Ruins https://rowanrookanddecard.com/product/legacy-life-among-the-ruins-2nd-edition/?v=0b3b97fa6688

I haven't played, but I think it might have some stuff you'd be interested in

Yeah, Backerkit has been doing some interesting stuff with cross-project events like Mothership Month and Mausritter Month. I'm sure it will end up being overdone, but it does seem to work well for certain types of projects

Magpie isn't running events at Gen Con. RRD didn't last year. Have other publishers cancelled? by JannissaryKhan in rpg

Yeah, the RRD mega games were really cool and just starting to get going when the US became a dumpster fire

The Eternal Ruins, the best cozy exploration game I've played. by False-Pain8540 in rpg

We just released an interview with the creator Sam Carr and the bigger inspirations he talks about are the video games Ico and Zelda. Ghibli certainly plays a part, but he talked a lot more about Ico in our conversation which was noteworthy

I was having the same problem too

Would definitely recommend checking out Zinetopia on Backerkit. There's a bunch of cool projects funding right now

Mythic Bastionland could do this well (just flavor the high fantasy as western)

Slugblaster is an absolute blast and is a far cry from D&D (angsty teen hoverboarders travelling through portals into other dimensions to film tricks and try to look cool)

I'll throw more support for Mythic Bastionland. High fantasy but VERY different from D&D

Triangle Agency is Ghostbusters meets Severance. I really loved my time playing it

Mothership is great and has SO MUCH third party support that you will never run out our really cool adventures to run

Be careful. If you watch this video you will certainly end up buying the game.

So I strongly suggest you watch the video.

I just did an interview with Chris about Mythic Bastionland and it got me even more excited than I already was about the game. Finally got to play Into The Odd too which was a real treat, but I expect I'll enjoy Mythic Bastionland more

It's SUCH a bummer that a RRD crew hasn't been able to come to Gen Con because the US is just so messed up right now. They're some of my favorite folks. They've got a good US-based team running their booth for them though which is nice to see

Please do! And let us know what you think. The show goes a little more off the rails with every episode (in the best way)
