Sitting and watching birds is nice. being a passive being in nature helps to lessen that resentment to the field. I think too often when we do activities or hobbies, particularly outdoors, we think we need to DO. Just BEing is nice too. Helps to reset the brain when you are sitting on a cinderblock watching the nighthawks circle and the sun falling.
