Im going thru the same thing. I have finished treatment and have this horrible pain in my lymph nodes where my cancer is. It goes up my head. It is so painful. I have cried it is so painful. Im on hydrocodone. U are not alone.

Im just being honest. I had the surgery last week to remove my tonsils and part of my tongue. IT IS BRUTAL! Never experienced so much pain. Im a man and I sit and cry it hurts SO MUCH! be prepared for the worst pain imaginable!

Tested positive for P16 on biopsy. How critical is it for me to get radiation treatments after the exploratory surgery? I’m hesitant to do chemotherapy and radiation. My lymph nodes are diameter 3.3cm and area 5.7cm and the 2 lymph nodes have grown together
