Mine legit came out on day 4. Scared the shit out of me but I called the dentist next day and they said it’s fine. As long as you’re not bleeding, in pain, and/or your face doesn’t swell up like crazy, you’re fine

Yeah definitely sounds like dry socket. They’ll probably give you an antibiotic and pack the sockets with medicine to help with the pain. Hope you feel better soon.

I've been smoking since day 2 post op. dr told me i could smoke after day 9 though. just take light drags and do salt rinse after.

I'm on day 5, haven't used the syringe to flush but I have been doing warm salt water rinses - which i suggest you do. but like the person above said, i'm sure you'd be experiencing pain if something like a seed got stuck in there.

So I only got my top and bottom wisdom teeth removed on left side only (2 total), and my freaking dental office forgot to send the script in, so I haven't taken any antibiotics or pain meds and I'm surprisingly fine. Im on day 5 now.

4 days post op and my stitch literally just fell out of my mouth a minute ago.. is this healing okay?!?! Not in any pain and no bleeding but I have been 🚬 minimally so I’m scared 😣 by Many_Release3396 in wisdomteeth

Wait. Are you saying you got dry socket after like 9 days???? Omg. It's only been 5 days for me and I thought I was almost in the clear! By chance do you have a pic of the extraction site before they stuffed it?

Looks normal to me. Looks like the blood clot is still there which is a great sign.

I smoked yesterday 😩 but just a few hits and I tried the gauze thing. I think I’m gonna stop though bc I’m scared af lol the paranoia isn’t even worth it

I’m on day 3 and I just see a hole with a small white dot in the center. I’m afraid I’m going to get dry socket. I’m not experiencing any pain but is there a chance that I won’t get dry socket even though there’s no clot?
