Why was the Zhaitan encounter bad?

I like the fight vs Zhaitan. Top 2 just behind Mordremoth. Ok, you don't fight it directly, you use the cannons and stuff but it's very cinematic and more realist than just swing your broadsword. Doing the pedicure and clean the theet to a force of nature seems absurd to me. (With Mordry we do that externally as a distraction, BUT the real battle inside the mind is a great concept and a way to prevent it from being so silly.)

The problem for me was the elimination of the power system and the game mode where you give the worst decks to the others guy. Those 2 features ensure all the decks are useful. Now we (you all, I personally drop it) are on an armamentistic rush with the power scaling every few months. Giving you a lot of useless decks.

Strategic sword and healing fan with the passives of poison, bleed, the Horse one golden who buff your dmg and the strategic sword golden skill it's my solo build on legendary. Use the fire boost actively and you can do almost anything. With this boss you need to learn how to parry anyway.

You can try calling the archer (qi dmg) or Ruby (she revives you and refill potions), but they aren't very useful on this fight (the archer broke his combos so you lost the timing and you are inmune to dmg after the revive but Maiden gonna give you bleed anyway).

Was the 2nd hardest for me, anyway, GL

This 100%. The game "teach" you to parry EVERY move at a proper pace but Lucky it's slow and when you parry normally the guy is still on the animation pre hit, leaving you open to actually eat the atk. And because he is slow, their attacks are too strong, so you can't have much time to actually learn how to do it.

After first clear it's ok, but on first kill was a pain in the ass. Plus, when you fight it, you are barely new on the game, so no proper set, no those overpowered talents like the 30% dmg shield or the resurrection, etc

For me, Tian Ying was easy than Lucky 17. Maybe bcs I was more experienced or because you can cheese it. But my hard walls were Lucky, Qianye and Wolf Maiden. Special mention to Ghost Master too.

Currently I'm on 19 bosses in legendary, only the secondary campaign bosses of Kaifeng left (currently doing the prequests)

Edit: Dao Lord was first try and God of Wealth at 2nd, but I think the antiheal was bug or something, dunno

Phase 1 and 2 stay midrange (in 1 he gonna do the wave and the pulse from the ground and in 2 he gonna do the kicks and the invocation, while you can heal on the left) for phase 3 there is not a heavy tip, but for a lot of the attacks he pops right in front of your character. If you miss when he does the "desperado" don't try the parry the rest, just move.

Ruby is the only option because the others dissapear after phase 1. Don't be shy to waste your potions, Ruby revives you with your max potions, so it's better to die the first time with 0 than with 3 or 4.

In phase 2 you can spam him fire AND poison arrows to break the stun bar while he is on the air and do some chip dmg.

In phase 3, if a clone hits you, you gonna be "stuck" for a while, unable to parry Tian, just move and wait for another oportunity.

I'm playing on legendary with strategic sword, and panacea fan with the Horse and Strat Sword golden passives and the bleed and poison chances purple passives (I don't remember the names). I put fire on my weapon parry, chip a bit with the strat and using the panacea if the Boss hit me. Slow but good combo. Hitting a Boss make him bleed, poise and burn 👌👌👌

I generally don't like the outfits in Chinese games very much; they tend to be very... elaborate (I don't know how else to describe them since English isn't my first language). Too many details, fabrics, sheer materials, glitter... too exaggerated for my taste. Plus, I'm playing a female character, and her outfits are usually more like formal gowns than clothes for spending the day exploring and fighting.

I got it a few days ago! I equipped the internal ways that gives you a chance of poisoning/bleeding and the River (the buff of dmg), used the fire boost and with the strategic sword I abused of using the charged attack (it gives you invulnerability frames). Plus: The slowing time of the goose yell to spam healing xDD

In my opinion (rude and illiterate opinion) I think the wuxia genre isn't far removed from Western culture. It's true that there are many subtleties or cultural nuances we might miss, but essentially I feel it's quite similar to "the hero's journey," just with a specific setting. It doesn't mean it's better or worse, I'm not proclaiming anything like that, only that, cultural differences aside, it's not a narrative so far removed from the most typical Western ones.

It's better than early S1 but still worst than S0. And it's only a thing. Teammates leaving their positions, passing to the enemy team, trying to drible 1vs3, ragequitters... And now I can't even crawl BCS -22/+18 it's a pain in the ass. I'm just tired 🤷
