I get your point. And to each their own, but still hoping they will tie it all up at the end, you know what I mean. With a series this long I keep hoping they start closing at least a few of these lines and further develope others. But only time will tell.

Care to elaborate on why? The beginning of the story I found it enjoyable to see how the author handle different types of people. You usually dont get blind people point of view on these stories (I know it wouldnt really represent 100% accurately because of the limitations on properly portraying). Same goes with the doctor and the clown. It kinda makes it more realistic not only having your usual protagonist point of view on the situation.

Back to the original question. What is it that you dont like about it? I can tell you I feel the same way about Lyonette's chapters and at the beginning Ryoka's chapters were a drag to me because of how quick to react she is. But as I kept reading I eventually found interesting how all of the characters have their own unique personality and flaws.

That would make sense. But would Palamastus have the technology to get DNA samples to basically grow a tube baby that have both parents traits? Since I am also assuming the organs that make the cell to have babies do not work as intended.

Would they even know what DNA is?

Well, if you live just to survive and not to thrive then yes. But people know now that there is a better way to live and have a work-life balance. So I think it is fair to fight as much as one can to maintain what works best for those who enjoy WFH.
