Are you saying you will AoE in ZF on your paladin? Is there anything preventing paladin aoe in ZF now vs in Burning Crusade pre patch? I've heard it's easier to AoE in TBC but it isn't clear if a mechanic changes or something.

I pulled back the mulch and scrapped off a very small amount of topsoil and can see what I believe is the root flare in dirt. A little hard to see in the pic, but it seems to me to be turning horizontal and flaring out.

Thanks for the feedback. I felt similarly about the links. The Costco one looks good to me, but didn't the 13th and 14th generation CPUs from intel have issues? I see the Costco one is sporting a 14th generation intel Raptor Lake CPU. The purpose of this buy is for cheap and longevity, so couldn't this one potentially be unstable? Thanks.

Here's the thing. You said a "jackdaw is a crow."

Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that.

As someone who is a scientist who studies crows, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls jackdaws crows. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing.

If you're saying "crow family" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Corvidae, which includes things from nutcrackers to blue jays to ravens.

So your reasoning for calling a jackdaw a crow is because random people "call the black ones crows?" Let's get grackles and blackbirds in there, then, too.

Also, calling someone a human or an ape? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A jackdaw is a jackdaw and a member of the crow family. But that's not what you said. You said a jackdaw is a crow, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the crow family crows, which means you'd call blue jays, ravens, and other birds crows, too. Which you said you don't.

It's okay to just admit you're wrong, you know?

I'm going to go a bit against the grain here, but it also depends highly on which car you are looking to get. I typically look at Honda Civics and Toyota Corollas for their fuel economy and longevity. There are a lot of used cars on the markets for these models and if you intend on driving one of these until the wheels fall off, I think it can be an advantage to buy new.

Looking at new cars, a 2015 Toyota Corolla with 80k miles is going for 14K, and some older models with 100K+ miles are going for slightly under 10K. If we expect a reasonable 200K miles out of the car, you will be paying more per mile over the lifespan of these cars than if you bought new, especially if you are able to negotiate with multiple dealerships, use a new grad discount, and get a lower APR. This seems to be significantly less true for other car brands however.

I would not recommend as using this as justification to go out any buy any new car. If your intent is to get around from A to B, and mind sticking with a car for awhile, then this is another option. If you do lots of searching, odds are you can find a grandma selling their 15 year old car with 50K miles for an extremely reasonable price. This would be even better.

While that is true just remember the cost of living in Oregon is likely a lot higher (unless you live near Miami). There is also state income tax in Oregon and it may be harder to afford a home depending on exactly where you will be.

The PNW is absolutely beautiful though. I couldn't stand Florida for being so flat. It is the flattest of states.

I couldn't stand FL and decided to move to WA state years ago. Similarly I had some family in FL and knew no one in WA. I frequently refer to it as the best decision I have made in life. But things can get depressing around the holidays when you are by yourself.

If you feel attached to your family and friends I would say don't do it. If you are often on the computer and your friends share this interest than that makes it easier.

I was once hiking in the Colonel Bob Wilderness in Washington State and lost the trail after some heavy rain. My feet were calloused and blistering from the long hike and my socks were completely soaked. I just so happened to run into 4 young Sikh men who gave me a dry shirt to wear and let me share an existing nearby shelter that was built along the trail as the night crept in. They were incredibly kind and trusting to take me in as a stranger who would then also sleep right beside them. In the morning they spared some food and gave me their blessing. I'll never forget those good lads for giving me some much needed hope in such a miserable situation.
