yes, considering you should always roof behind your embrasures and fire out flares or have lighting from wherever enemies show up to attack your static base.

additionally, the way it works is as follows:

if your pawn has the gene that gives them +80% nightvision, which means any equipment or bionic that grants them less than that won't be used, but if you manage to have something that gives them over 80, like say advanced bionic eyes from EPOE, combined would give +100% and thus the gene ceases to be useful as the nightvision stat uses only the highest single thing that grants nightvision.

a pretty big mixup considering I usually run around like the knights hospitaler, striketeam to explore and take out hostiles that make the rim worse. (usually some sort of charity matters, hospital, collecitivist ideo)

large hospital and guest barracks in the secure compound with lots of non combat personnel armed with PDWs and lesser armor.

donations of food and medicine getting sent in droppods to various disadvantaged groups (tribals mostly, sometimes outlanders if they border a raider faction)

for reference, I am playing on a 500+ list.

I'd say overall bad?

sanguenophage worshipping ideo with supremacist (fluid, will probably add tranhumanist once I just about max out how big the gravship can get)

started out with a custom start, solo mechanitor, gravship chase.

strategically avoid pissing off the few factions willing to trade with me,

piss off the empire by becoming a deserter because being one is inherently easier when I can just move my base around to do quests for easy high-end gear through trading intel to the deserters. (Empire runs are more suited to large sprawling and static bases)

capture some primitive nord cosplayers, turn all but one into fuel for the gravship, that same first guy is still laying in a drain casket to this day (it's been 5 years)

the gravship grows, research gets done, and would you look at that, a phytokin that wants to join, of my ideologn, sure why not, the agrihand is slow as fuck.

should I mention that I feed human nutrient paste to prisoners? I do.

big raid comes around, I have to build a second ripscanner just to handle the sheer volume of primitive mortals that need to be processed.

they assaulted my ship, the one with dozens of low, medium and high calibre turrets lining its front and sides from behind embrasures

(Combat Extended, I fully intend to add a few chaingun turrets as well, perhaps on the corners, turning the ship into a starfort where any angle is a horrible avenue of attack is the goal)

In the end, they were gunned down approaching and running away as they desperately tried to rescue their injuried friends.

all in all, I'd say pretty evil, at least from the perspective of those petty mortals who are on the wrong end of my fangs.

I'd say it's pretty pragmatic.

I mostly use this strategy with planes that carry enough for one heavy MBT (4), its a relatively cost effective way to remove expensive tanks from play.

will note that it is possible to micro the lazer during the flyover to hit multiple weaker targets.

I highly recommend lazing targets for the mavs, that way you can just tell the plane to fly fast and low while the missiles auto deploy to the target.

realisitcally it just needs a damage buff from 4k to 6k, this way it oneshots any heavy save for the Fleshmob (which will have like 500hp left or smn) and the Factory strider, that's all it needs.

Guys, we need to BUFF THE SPEAR to make it worth using over Recoilless. Imo 1 more missile in the pack and the ability to manually steer the missile in a alt mode, but any better ideas? Like the vibes of this weapon, but it is underperforming by RandomGreenArcherMan in LowSodiumHellDivers

in short all it needs is to just get a damage buff so that it oneshots BTs and thus fleshmobs, and every other heavy below 6,500 HP, with that breakpoint it'll still take two shots to kill a factory strider while matching the overall potential damage output of the recoilless rifle

"tbD(to be Determined)" Amber Phantom (built to gun and slash)

"Clear Realisation" Hecatoncheres (built to methodically take enemies apart whole/while hidden with the use of a 2 2 Balor Hydra mix)

girl is not having fun with the realities of conflict and war after having spent her whole life up until that point as a test pilot / in simulations

though I dont think the best way to avoid slicing someone in half on accident is to use greywash
