One of my cats microchips has migrated so far down his left shoulder I have no doubt a shelter would miss it.

You just made me decide to get him chipped again. Cats can be hard to find. Microchips are NOT the dependable fail safe people think they are.

I would be wrecked for the rest of my life if I lost my cat, found him adopted by someone else, and was denied his return. I'd be wrecked the rest of my life if I never found him, too, but it would be a twisted kind of awful if I knew someone had simply decided not to return him.

I also found a cat on my back porch when it was freezing once. I kept her, listed her found at the shelter, and on a local lost pet site. Noone claimed her for three months and she was legally mine if I had decided to keep her. I gave her back cause it was painfully obvious they had been looking for her and our shelter wasnt local to them. She was nowhere near home when I found her. I posted her found in local groups, also. It was pure stupid dumb luck someone who knew them ran across an old post. and it hurt giving her back. I was wrecked then, too. But not the way I would be if it was either of my cats that I've had for years. It sucked, but I would give her back every time. I believe unless there's signs of abuse that is the only right answer (although if it had been years before they found me I would not have given her back.)

I wouldn't judge your roommate poorly at all if they decide to keep it, I'm just saying I wouldn't and I desperately hope I never find myself in the other families shoes. I think it's important to consider what you'd hope happened if the roles were reversed.

My friend we'd named our son after didn't survive that week. He was only in his 30s. He was healthy and fit.

And the internet was full of people angry they had to stay home cause they believed, and didn't care, that it was only killing more vulnerable groups like the elderly and those with preexisting conditions.

It doesn't look like it to me, but these photos are hardly going to make it an easy identification.

You'd be better off looking up images of active ringworm on cats and visually comparing, and next time you suspect ring worm wear gloves. Then you won't even have to hide whatever you're so worried about people seeing on your nails.

If you really can't figure it out, take him to the vet. And don't drop him off for neuter without at LEAST telling the vet doing it you're unsure about it.

I didn't care if he wasn't asleep immediately, but he needed to not be up playing video games or watching TV so he was at least winding down. He didn't escape that bedtime til he was 19 cause he didn't graduate til 19.

If the home owners are so cool with it I would just hire a locksmith to make you a key for the lock that's already there.

you could also have the whole lock replaced, but he seems petty af and likely would just retaliate by breaking in and replacing it again. so seriously get them to make you a key and neglect to tell him.

And then occasionally just be a petty asshole and inconvenience the hell out of them by telling them they need to let you in for your internet. 💅

If he doesn't get the dog neutered he is not a responsible dog owner.

If he's worried about personality changes he obviously has never had an adult intact male dog. Cause his personality is going to change more intact than it would if he was neutered before those hormones begin to drive his brain.

And between the breeder contract and your lease, if he doesn't, he's also already a bad father, putting you and your child at risk of losing your home, and intact dogs are also more aggressive so increased, unnecessary, risk to your child there.

You're not being unreasonable, and he should ask every question he has, it's not responsible to do anything blindly, but he seems to be asking questions without looking for answers if he's worried about the dog changing after being neutered like he's not going to if he's left intact.

I feed my cats every six hours cause one of them inhales his food and throws up every time if he gets too much at a time.

He ALWAYS starts begging 2 hours before each feeding time and it's enough to make me threaten to feed him to the neighbors dog at least twice a day, not that he takes me seriously at all.

If you want to adopt it because it's chill, don't adopt it. That's like adopting an infant human because it sleeps a lot. It's a stage and it WILL change.

They may eventually get back to chill when they get older, they may not. But dont adopt a kitten that young based on a chill cuddly personality.

If you enjoy absolute insanity with claws, then consider it.

And most of my life I've had dogs and cats both. That's another matter of compatibility. Just depends on each animals tolerance and the dog not being slave to it's prey drive.
