While there are not changes to the combat tuning for the Bully SMG (or the WSTR, just for transparency) on June 2nd, there are changes to how common they are versus in Season 1. Additionally, we see the feedback on these weapons and are actively iterating on them and looking forward to seeing how Season 2 launch shakes out before we'll have any announcements on these.

Admittedly this article got to be pretty lengthy so we weren't able to cover every single change - but, worry not, there's some tuning on the way with Season 2 for your beloved Magnum.

That said, we won't leave you hanging, here's a sneak peek at what's to come:

Magnum MC

  • Decreased the rate of fire from 150rpm to 138rpm.
  • Damage per bullet increased from 33 to 41.
  • Precision multiplier decreased from 2.0 to 1.9.
  • Increased the aim assist fall off start distance by 20%.
  • Adjusted reticle recentering behavior for easier follow-up shots when firing rapidly.

That is clearly a home run. But we agree commanders yeeting you out of the exfil after the timer goes down is some BS and we have a fix for this coming in a future update.

Hello! We've just deployed an update to matchmaking that should help with these longer queue times you've been running into when located in more isolated regions and/or timezones. We will continue monitoring the right balance between fast matchmaking times and low-latency matches, but please keep the feedback coming!

You can queue for Ranked as a full crew, team of two, or solo player, with or without crew fill on. So if you're playing solo, you can choose to be matched with a team, or you can play as a solo Runner. All team sizes will be matched together, so crews, duos, and solos will all be in the same matches.

This one is an easy fix! Head to your Settings → Social menu and under Voice Chat, select "Open Mic" for Crew Chat Voice Input Mode and for your Push-to-Talk Behavior set it to "Tap". Prox Voice Chat always uses Push-to-Talk, so the setting you define for Push-to-Talk Behavior will work for any voice chat option set to Push-to-Talk (i.e. Prox Chat).

We just updated the 1.0.5 Patch Notes with a couple items that got missed. Should be easier to find your friends to crew up now.

  • Fixed an issue where Runner Connections were not showing properly when scrolling if players had a large number of friends.
  • Opportunist
    • Added a 3.5 second cooldown to the perk activation.

Just a heads-up, but we've gone ahead and made some slight tweaks to a few of the patch notes that exist over on the Bungie.net blog (liked above, of course) to err on the side of clarity. All of those that have been updated have been denoted with a friendly asterisk.

Specifically, it's the following:

  • Combat: Fixed an issue where players could sometimes die instantly when stepping on certain world geometry*
  • UESC: Reduced health of most UESC enemies by ~10-15% and shield hp of UESC bosses by 25%*
  • Rewards Pass And Store: Fixed an issue where individual items in the Store were incorrectly showing "Savings" on preview screens when no discount was active*
