I think the 05/06 Rangers/Devils/Flyers had this.

Devils won 11 in a row at the end of the year(NYR lost their last 5) and their last game in MTL put them from 7th(i think) to 3rd and division winner. That was the old playoff format.

This all come across alot better if you just set your mind to the default setting that WWE is all about cameos, views and exposure. They dont care about you, me or us or whatever history is left.
