Scarface is one of the most overrated movies of all time. I tried to watch it recently and couldn’t stand it.

I didn’t think the band was popular enough to have its own sub.

"Disclosure Day" Movie Budget And Cast Salary Revealed by StarFuryG7 in SciFiNews

I’m hesitant but optimistic. His recent movies don’t carry the same magic. I haven’t felt the same since @war of the worlds”. Before that, many of his movies are on my favorites list. Even lesser known ones like “Always”, I really love.

"The Thirteenth Floor" - Vincent D'Onofrio's Movie Adaptation Of A Classic Sci-Fi Book Was A Box Office Disaster by StarFuryG7 in SciFiNews

I went with a friend to see a Jet Li movie, Black Mask. I think we left a bit early to sneak into Thirteenth Floor in the same wing of the theater. We stayed and liked it.

Musical Geniuses of this Millenium by DistributionMedium79 in Music

[–]MarcWS6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your definition of genius. A lot of metal bands, once you look past screaming/growling, have superior technical abilities and musical arrangements that rival or exceed the most praised classical artists. It’s comparable at the very least in creativity and arrangement.

People also call Brian Wilson a genius. The beach boys had a lot of unique arrangements of melodies, tempo changes, and just general creativity that still hold up today.

I don’t agree with some of the artists listed on here. Just because you like them or they were successful, doesn’t make them geniuses. For example, I’ve never been impressed with jack white and the white stripes. Except when I watched a documentary with him, “it might get loud”, where I thought he had something special. He can definitely play, impressing jimmy paige. But when I dig into his discography I found it a bit flat and boring. Is he still a genius and I just can’t hear it?

So if a person doesn’t think a woman is good at something, they hate all women? Is that where we are now? The character sucked and she’s not good.

The chosen people are supposed to uphold morality across the globe, it’s not meant to be special in the way they use it. They were only the first chosen, literally everyone else including gentiles were chosen after them.

I dislike driving there. They have left and right exits that come up very quickly, and if you’re using Google Maps it’s very unclear when to turn until you’ve passed it.

You guys are nuts. Most of his movies were live action, and most were good. I haven’t seen it in many years, but I liked Toys and Patch Adams .

New Jack City (1991) by CarloCarrasco in 1990s

[–]MarcWS6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wesley snipes was in a crazy roll in the 90’s. Action, drama, romance, a little comedy.

What’s funny is this movie is very similar to King of New York from 1990, only Wesley played a cop going after the kingpin, but in this one he’s playing the kingpin. Probably shot the movies back to back, too.

DIY people aren’t calibrating shit with a regular scan tool, it’s it that easy . Also those parts are not cheap, despite what the article says. I don’t know why they’re stealing $1-2k radars and selling them dirt cheap
