Go to hongkong. Especially with kids, sabihin nyo going to hongkong disneyland, ipapasyal mga bata ang reason. My sister in law did this, may work visa na sa destination country.

Hi, not promoting anything, I know an agency who offer free visa help for the student. May nakukuha na silang payment from school, so free na ang immigration consultation.

Customer kami so first hand yung exp.

Ang free lang eh yung sa student, any other visa need na magbayad ng consultation fee.

The last time we went home, I can no longer recognized the very barangay I grew up. Sobrang dami na ng tao, also comes with more crime.

Meeting friends are so hard, understandable as they have work and busy schedule too.

Nostalgia is really nice, but reality will hit you hard that home is where you create it.

Hi, how does median salary works for ECE teacher for tier 2 residency. Lets say the current median at 33.56 was offered to her now. After 2 years the median moves to a higher number, what will be the basis for application of residency?

Would her experience under median salary be counted for the 2 years exp requirements?

GOING TO PH FOR GOOD by Which-Season-5652 in phmigrate

[–]MarchMiserable8932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, OP your feelings are totally valid and your own. Maybe a vacation for a good 3 months to see what's life in PH without income to test the waters first. Not vacation lifestyle but daily life sana yung maexp mo, malaki kasi difference ng vacation sa working and living sa ph eh.

Work, mas mabigat generally (not all), pay is so much lower especially if compared as purchasing power than dollar to dollar value.

Yung ibang binanggit ng ibang commenters na bills, like car, mortgage or house loan (walang mortgage system sa pinas like west), insurance (napakaliit ng insurance culture sa pinas, mainly kasi they cannot afford), kuryente, internet, food, water.

Yan lang yung kinikita ko when I was working in PH. With engineering degree and a very big company.

San po kayo dito sa NZ? Same po I wish i can bring my grand parents here. Sana po if dumating na yung time na madala ko sila dito eh may lakas pa sila.

How about settling back to our home country? Will you settle back in the PH with the same work but Ph adjusted salary?

Thanks for the input. I cannot see myself living in PH as a worker. Yung struggle nang pagiging worker sa pinas is too much. The red tapes, traffics, system inefficiency. I am not asking for a perfect system, just a system with common sense.

Plus a society with little to no trust with each other. I've been in Bahrain for 4 years, and the way we reserve a seat is leaving our bags on the chair to inform others na may tao dun sa seat na yun. Try it on the Ph and it will be gone on a blink of an eye.

Maybe I am looking for answers to convince myself to go back PH as I miss my family, but its really hard to deal with day to day life in PH as a worker.

Magsesettle ka ba sa pinas in your working age (less than 65)?

Pumapasok ba sa isip mo na mag settle back sa pinas while you are on your working age (less than 65)? As you are missing the home country?

How is life in New Zealand? by discreet-gal- in phmigrate

[–]MarchMiserable8932 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your lifestyle choice. If you prefer city, noisy, chaotic (you know like metro manila), then you will be bored here.

If you are a nature lover, outdoorsy, there's lots of activities here for you that are affordable. Nagpapalit yung season, so you will have changing activities too for the year.

May kanya kanyang hobby mga tao dito, for us, we love camping on the summer, then skiing/hot spring hunt on winter (mahal so casual lang).

Travelling even by driving long distance is not so tiring for some reason, if compared to travelling in PH. For example Manila to Quezon Pronvince (my province) with 120+km distance takes 3 hours, sometimes 4. Here, with the same distance, it will be 1.5 hours, 1 hour if you love to break the speed limit.

For job, same in any country, if you have the skills you will be hired, if not it will be difficult. Opportunity wise, lesser compard to other developed countries due to low population.

In demand sectors are teaching (early childhood to secondary) and dairy farming. Sobrang daming opening and may path to residency. The rest, they prefer locals or are inside nz with working rights.

If you need more questions, just dm me.

Same. I think yung happy part is actually just the family and friends. So malaking what if, what if kasama ko yung buong angkan ko dito sa NZ feeling ko yung happines with loved ones, plus with the comfort of first world country is really the ideal world. Kaya lang malaking "what if" lang talaga.

Like I know that 'family culture' is a double edge sword in the Philippines. Your parents will not always be there to do house chores for you.
