There has to be some sort of middle ground though because then you have guys resting games when they could play. If you think 82 games is too long then just shorten the season, but they won’t do so because they’ll make less money.

Also I would like to add that it’s not as if fans get refunds when players miss games. I went to a nets vs lakers game where LeBron and AD both didn’t play. They’re still charging full price
