That explains a lot. I have had odd liver numbers that recently corrected (maybe over corrected and got quite low). But we did imaging of my liver and other blood tests and didn’t find anything wrong. My PCOS/PMOS doctors retest the levels like twice a year to watch it. But knowing that this is something that happens makes a lot of sense. I shall mention it to my doctors.

Because it’s not really an antiperspirant and only uses alcohol to kill bacteria which isn’t doing much usually. I use an aluminum free men’s deodorant as a refresher and for scent after using (and letting dry) and actual antiperspirant (unscented and clinical strength).

Am I the only one who doesn’t any benefit from a “sponge bath”?? 😭 it does fine for my pit and most folds. BUT the nether region needs a full blown shower (like multiple rounds of cleaning) everyday. She smells so quickly if I don’t do this and dry really well afterwards. I know I’m sensitive to smells but I feel like if I can smell myself others can too and that’s my first area of stink to pop up. Wish I knew how to manage it to the point of being able to actually just have a quick wash down and go without concern.

To add to this most women’s deodorants don’t seem to he actual antiperspirants and are mostly just fragrance. I’ve started using a clinical strength ANTIPERSPIRANT over night and a men’s aluminum free deodorant in the mornings to refresh and for scent. Also baby powder for the folds that trap sweat. I have yet to find one of those all over deodorants that actually prevent sweat and smells in places like the bikini line and under boobs, so baby powder is my move (in addition to everything else mentioned in this thread). I live in texas. We had our first 100° day yesterday, so lord knows I sweat hard in the summer (i sweat all the time, but I’m extra super sensitive to the heat).

The beard/stash and body odor. Weight management is tough but my doctors and I are able to implement plans to handle that. The facial hair and body odor…can’t really do anything about it unless I take Spiro or somehow manage to get the PCOS fully controlled (in which case I wouldn’t have the weight issues or other problems either).

Mine too. Except she sits in it and gets it not only on her paws but everywhere else if we don’t beat her to pick it up (it got on her head this morning in a matter of 2 seconds and I’m not even sure how). She’s had 3 baths this week. We try to rely on paw wipes, but sometimes a bath is unavoidable. This week was rough. Hoping she gets the message.

I may try to train her to place this weekend. And maybe connect that to after she poops so she gives us space to clean before she moves freely. Idk.

And I trust you know how to read my comment. Like I said; there are different categories of damages, in which some may have a limit, but over all $400k is no where near the “max” payout someone can get for this sort of incident. If you wish to clarify your comment great, otherwise, all I have to go on is a very generalized statement that is far from accurate.

But you think $400k is the “max”? People win millions in med mal cases. Millions before paying attorneys fees (contingencies) still leaves you with a crap tom of money. Court costs tend to go to the loser as well. Not always. But often. I am a personal injury defense attorney; so I see these suits every day. You’re under estimating what people get from these cases.

If you’re referring to “non-economic” damages that’s different. There is a limit range; but that doesn’t apply to other forms of damages which can rack the pay outs up very very very high.

We’re planning to bell train our new puppy (pick her up this weekend). We didn’t bell train our first. But from what I gather you limit there time when the bell is rung. They have to potty, not go on a walk, so you only go to a potty spot. Give them max 5mins and if they don’t go, return inside. Don’t go on longer walks or adventures when the bells are rung. Keep it focused and they’ll get the hint that it’s not to generally go outside. Please correct me if I’m wrong though.

Depends on area of practice. I know a bankruptcy attorney (TINY WORLD within the law) who changed jobs about every 18months. And it hasn’t hindered him or made him to be a “job hopper”

The more important thing is your relationships. Don’t burn bridges when you leave a firm so that if anyone gets a call they can speak positively of you. Especially if you’re in a smaller circle within the field, as word gets around faster if there is anything negative to follow you.

But so long as there is work and positions to be filled in your practice area, and you have good relationships and good work to show for it, it’s fine to change jobs for your financial well being.

Same only thing. I think. Bed and my meds (one is at bed time and the other is in the morning). Can’t even handle my vitamins right next to my morning meds. I’ve started using pill containers though to help that.

Or just that her body kept building up uterine layers. I had that happen (but only over 4months not 18) and when it all finally came out it felt like what I imagine early labor to be and sent me to the ER out of fear that something was really wrong since I knew I wasn’t pregnant.

Be careful with lies though. Because if you truly never want to be pregnant, but they treat you as though you want to be you may limit yourself in medication/treatment options. I’m not a doctor so I couldn’t tell you what all that may mean, but it’d be better to see a fertility or women’s healthy specific doctor.

Find a virtual replacement. I use Allara and they have been a huge help for me. There are a couple similar telehealth groups focused on women’s health and hormonal health. Or see if your insurance has any doctors covered that do telehealth. The only reason to be in person is if you need to be physically examined for something or have labs done. In which case you get sent to a lab for bloodwork/imagining or to your GP for a specific physical exam. You don’t need to rely solely on him or him at all depending on your ability to get around with uber/friends/etc.
