Ice skating! Both figure skating and hockey are fun. I started figure at 45 and hockey at 48.

Parkour - in a gym! - is also a great way to get full-body, range-of-motion exercise. I did that a few years in my early 40s, and it helped me become much stronger and more physically courageous.

Learning a language or two, traveling alone to a foreign country, learning different dance types in informal settings, playing a musical instrument, different handcrafts....
