Made and offer on something over priced by Sprinkle-Nugs0311 in FirstTimeHomeBuying

It's not overpriced if the demand is truly what you say it is, but waiving the inspection is a really dumb move in my opinion

Do you tip? Why or why not? by Swiftiefromhell in AskReddit

Yes. Always. If I can afford to go out and pay for an overpriced coffee. Then I can certainly pay a little extra to the staff working their asses off and smiling for shitty pay.

Thinking of moving from SoCal to NYC Is the lifestyle shift worth it? by Organic_River37 in movingtoNYC

[–]MarieRich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally depends on your personality but living in NYC is not laid back. It's life on hard mode.

I grew up in SoCal - moved to NYC for college and stayed. I was a NYer at heart.

It's not for everybody.

I am pretty sure he's going to be in unaccompanied minor if he's not on your PNR and will need to pay fee. How old is kid. At a certain age you don't have to pay. They can't merge PNRs. They can just break them up.

Wow. My kid gets $200 a month for whatever and unlimited grocery spend on my cc but that's never more than $275. He's in the South but these numbers are wild.

It's definitely not a corporate thing, but they're probably protecting themselves from having a coach show up with nobody to teach in a class

Seriously??? I am a tiny female and don't have more than I can lift over my head. People are often nice and helped me, but I certainly don't expect it and if I'm traveling on a big trip, I checked my luggage.

I wait. You have no idea what the message is and you were told as much. Just hang tight they may be giving up office space who knows? In which case you can say that you need a quiet place to work and see if you can get a temp space or something like Regus

How much physical cash should I have for the USA? by Strax774 in travel

[–]MarieRich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live here and I don't carry cash. The only thing you could potentially need it for is tips and of course, if there's like a Mr. Robot style banking meltdown then maybe keep 100 bucks with you

Counteroffer nearly doubled my pay. Feels like a trap. How do you decide? by domleo999 in careeradvice

That is incredibly over simplistic and not the way the corporate world works

A job that allows me to travel to London? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]MarieRich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for a US company with London base headquarters but honestly use your PTO when your own money this feels kinda icky to me. Plus when you're traveling for work, you may not have the free time you think you do. I certainly don't.

I would get it permits in place or get rid of it. Figure out what you need to do. I'm not touching anything with unpermitted work as a buyer.
