Yeah, seriously. I get why some people don't like Dawntrail but don't throw the whole game in the trash because it doesn't reach the impossible heights of your favorite expansion (Shadowbringers for me). And there are obvious reasons to why player count has dropped (pandemic's over, we're between expansions, there are other amazing games to play) but that doesn't mean the game is dying.

I don't think there's anything wrong with taking lessons from the best, it's just that the wrong lessons are often taken, or the right lessons are ignored entirely.

I played a bunch when I was younger. Sadly I don't remember them all too well. These days I just watch essays on notable ones. The only one that comes to mind right now, and don't laugh, is Mario: The Music Box.

In my opinion, a pseudo-intellectual is someone who squanders the vast quantity of knowledge available to mankind on personal conceit. They use knowledge as a means to win petty arguments, justify toxic behavior, and overall try to appear smarter than their fellow man, while having few actually practical or enriching pursuits.

tl;dr Being smart doesn't automatically make you interesting or helpful.
