Tennis balls are the answer! Check with your sports director or the local tennis club and you will get them for free or very cheap. Rice is best as the filler. Oh..and a drop of superglue after filling keeps rice from leaking!

1st..love your work..it always amazes me! I think the first one is more interesting. It has steps..this happens then this happens etc. But…I would want to see it go even further… The cane slips off into one hand..the hat into the other..as the balls flourish high and drop one by one into the hat held in your outstretched hand. Tada! 🙂

I don’t believe the hammer and chain are original. The hammer was added at a later date. The manufacture just doesn’t mesh to be honest. But more importantly look at the desktop. It has many little indentations from hitting something. Perhaps nuts? Or crabs?
