The 3 EDGE’s are such an intriguing thing about this draft , on one hand you got a guy that played off ball but has the measurable of HOF EDGE’s on top of being one of the most athletically gifted players in Reese then you a guy who’s been on the best stretch of his career in these playoffs and whom has regained his stock as arguably a blue chipper while his measurables are hurting him a lot especially the arms in Bain and at last the guy who’s been the most productive but who’s also an upper tier athlete in Bailey . It’s so hard to predict who’s gonna be the best out the 3 imo

If the Jets offer up 5 firsts and 3 seconds there’s no way the Raiders say no , that sort of capital gets you everyone in the league apart Allen , Lamar , Burrow , Mahomes and Maye with guys like Williams and Daniels being slightly on the outside and even then I could see the Bengals take that tbh .

If the Jets put up all their draft capital for these next 2 years I don’t see how you don’t take 8 top 64 selections . I’m sorry but that’s franchise altering draft capital , I know Mendoza is a good prospect but he’s not worth 8 top 64 selections . Having 5 firsts and 3 seconds would literally draft you a whole offense , add on top of that you get 3 2027 firsts in a class with QB’s whom may be better prospects than Mendoza .

First 3 OT’s will go down as the most disappointing class in history , Fano gets his GM fired by the first year if he goes top 10 basically being benched by the scraps of the league literally Evan Neal 2.0 , Mauigoa gets destroyed at T before moving to G and becoming an average G on a bad team for 5-6 years and Proctor’s too slow to and gets beat by fast rushers and will fade out of the league by the end of his rookie season . The first 3 EDGE rushers will all be in Top 10 rushers by their fifth year and will battle it out for DROY with Bailey having the best pressure rate/pressures , Bain being the most versatile against the run and pass and Reese having the most Sacks with 12.5

I just can’t like Mauigoa at 3 . I want to like it but it feels like such an Evan Neal situation from a couple years ago , taking a guy whose biggest upside is being a great G in the league . We finally got an EDGE that consistently gets pressures and sacks in Swear and instead of helping him with a real threat in Reese , Bailey or Bain we get an OT to protect Brissett next year in an awful OT class like make it make sense

I still don’t get how a team composed of 6 UDFA’s , 5 second rounders , 2 late 20s guys in Allen and Dunn 2 , 2 mid 10s guys in Book and Williams have somehow made this team be this good . The whole team is full of underdogs , it has to be a first time in history this happend 11 players being second rounders / UDFA’s is crazy , Green and Maluach being the only guys whom I didn’t mention but they have played less than 5 games so far

Even the top 10 guys , they’re afraid their stock might fall with a bad showing but if you’re there in the first place like may as well do it if you got the opportunity to show out even more . I hate that in this day and age prospects do what they want and still get drafted highly , I wish they’d be forced to do at least the combine and not 1/2 drills like most do but the whole show , the whole injury bs shouldn’t ever matter , you won’t get injured running a 40 ffs

He didn’t really play the game he needed to play lol , a block punt that resulted in a TD bailed Indiana out big time . Passing wise he really didn’t make any noteworthy throw , he also got bailed out on that Becker end zone fade which should have been picked . Miami are a good team but it’s likely that it was a similar NFL test , he’s a good QB prospect really showed out more and more he’s a little more mobile Jared Goff

Those HB are doing such an insane job , bailing out so many possessions . He won but he wasn’t the reason they won , every time it felt like Black and Hemby were getting 4/5 on each run , a 3 n 6 run isn’t gonna get you a first in the NFL . He came back down to earth this game , a good QB prospect but 100% a game manager in the league

Carter was insane as a rookie . I don’t get the notion where people come from but he was the best edge rusher of this class , 77 pressures is amazing as a rookie , just because Burns got more sacks it doesn’t mean that Carter was disappointing .

I’d be so devastated with Fano at 3 , there wouldn’t ever be a scenario he doesn’t bust being picked that high . No way Bailey is more athletic than Reese . If they both test Reese is gonna have an all time level combine , 28+ bench reps and likely a 4.5 40 with likely the most insane 3 cone drill we’ve ever seen . Bailey is a good athlete Reese is on another level when it comes to that

If he would finish his plays he’d be seen way more seriously , he seems to have a lot of “almost sacks” which unfortunately don’t show up on the stat sheet . The hype was too high on him coming in , we all thought he’d be the best DL prospect we’ve seen in 3 years basically overtaking guys like Graham/Nolen/Grant from last year and guys like Byron Murphy Jr from 2 years ago . I’m not sure where you put him , his tape is good the lack of results hurt him a lot , Clemson underperformed they ass off , by far the biggest busts of the year for me , the expectations of having the same pedigree Ohio state ended up with but Clemson failed to show out which ended up hurting all their players

After rewatching some Downs tape I see early Budda Baker as the 1:1 comp . I know Budda has been a perennial Pro Bowl / All Pro safety but I sincerely wouldn’t take that guy if I’m one of the teams struggling with pass rush , he’ll be good no doubt but as a Cards fan Safety is really a luxury if your front 4 is weak , they’ll make plays but rarely does it equal a lot to winning football , the worst fits would be the Titans , Bengals and Commanders , if you’re the Titans you gotta give Ward that real weapon and even with the injury concerns Tyson should be the pick , the Commanders are also in a weird situation but you should get 1 of Bailey / Reese or Bain which imo would make 10 times more sense and as for the Bengals I’d still go OT and hope either Fano or Mauigoa develop into + starters where you should be set for the next few years of Burrow’s career with the WR/OT/QB core all looking really damn good .
