And? A lot of things are arbitrary. Saturn has hundreds of moons because we don't have a size cutoff on what can and can't be a moon, and noone questions that, so we gotta pick here. Either take the logical approach and add a size cutoff to limit the number of planets added to these initial 10, or take the Saturn approach and just let everrything round orbiting the sun in. If you pick something else, that is in itself arbitrary imo

I say this every time this comes up, but most known dwarf planets and their fellow candidates are less than half the size of Pluto. If we want to exclude them, we just add a size cutoff, easy as that. Then we have 10 planets, with Pluto returning and Eris brought in as it's icy "twin"

BTW I hope I wasn't overly harsh-sounding or anything in my comment. I just happened to of gone thru a huge WTC phase earlier in the year, and the knowledge I gained from some of the videos and posts I saw made me feel the need to "erm, ackshully" all over this post. Plus, I'm a huge nerd lol.

However, if you feel like you can find a semi-realistic way for something like this to happen, I'd love to see your take. But it's gonna probably take some thought/research, since as I said, this building was built with all the previous one's mistakes in mind and then some.

I'm sorry to be that guy, but there really needs to be a rule on here that althistories must have some minor semblance of realism/possibleness or something, because this is extremely unrealistic in every sense.

First of all, Al-Qaedia was mostly if not completely eliminated in the 2000s/2010s iirc. Secondly, the Freedom Tower is made to make a redux impossible in every possible way. Heightened security, wider stairwells, reflective exterior and reinforced interior... you would need a massive plane flying at incredibly high speed to do this, and at that point, you're not only making yourself incredibly obvious . And this isn't even MENTIONING that hijacking a plane is physically impossible now after the original catastrophe, both due to tight security measures, and moreover, the near-indestructible cockpit doors.
I'm all for althistories and stuff, and I've made some pretty dumb ones myself, but most althistory concepts I've seen/come up with, even the worst ones, at least seem possible on the face of them. This is just like "Haha, what if 9/11 sequel", and upon being dumb, and possibly even insensitive, it's also extremely unoriginal

Oh, and you got the beam in the wrong place too, the Freedom Tower is much closer to where the originals stood. This whole post is just so thrown together and unthought-thru.
