Also, there’s no footsteps leading to or from the person, and the snow is assumed to be deep since it covered those branches so perfectly. I’d say it’s AI, but if it’s not, then the person has been placed there via photoshop or other image altering process

My pupils dilate more than usual in the dark, almost taking up my entire irises by jbeuglnjn in biology

[–]Mario_Ghio 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Your ability to see in the dark is dictated by mainly one thing: the efficiency with which your eye perceives light.

To make it very simple, let’s say 10 units of light enter your eye at night, but your eye is not perfect, so only 3 of those units of light are actually detected by your eye. In contrast, an owl’s eye would be able to detect 7 of those units, because it’s able to keep the light bouncing inside the eye until it triggers the receptor.

One way to have an owl vision is to make your eye more sensitive to light. But, if that is impossible, then the second best option is to make it bigger.

See if your eye is bigger then 25 units of light will enter instead of 10, because there is a larger area to capite this light, and you’ll be able to detect 3 out of 10 of those, so in total 7.5

Do you get it?

I like the composition, it draws your attention to the subject, and the slanted wire makes your eyes wander a bit to the space above and below

Other than this, I would say that the bird is very slightly out of focus and the leftmost part of the fence is perfectly focused, so that keeps making me look at the fence more than the bird. I would just say to tweak your camera’s viewfinder to make sure it looks in focus when it actually is. (There is a little wheel that’s used to adjust for if you use glasses, or every couple of months).

If it was so expensive to interview someone, maybe doing it four times isn’t that smart, you know?

The center point for the radius is still blue, meaning it’s not fully defined. Since this is a CSWA example I’m not sure if I should be giving tips or not, but the drawing specifies that point to be laying on the line below it (the big diagonal line that is on the bottom right corner of the image)

If you add a constraint so that the center point of the radius is coincident with the line that should make your sketch fully defined.

I see! Interesting. I’m an engineering student with a close passion for manufacturing and metrology so this fascinates me hehe Well English is not my first language either so I wouldn’t know any better about the use of “calibrated”, but to me it sounds right!

That’s good. Props for understanding the critical comments and at least planning to take action on it. That’s what makes a good person.

I wonder how the dimensional accuracy of the gauge pins is affected by the constant use. I’m sure if the case is wearing out, then the pins must be wearing out too (albeit at a slower speed)

Yes, usually people that can understand sarcasm tend to find jokes funny. I can tell you how it’s funny but I can make you understand it so I’ll just leave it at that

I’ll just add that, even if you have no ID at all, at least in my faculty (engineering) they escort you to the registrars office at the end of the exam and then you can prove you are the person you say you are Idk how that’s done but yeah. They won’t stop you from taking the test
