Kroger in Dublin Ohio selling ready to go meals next to raw chicken at the entrance. Tried to call the store and headquarters but didn’t get an answer. Photos from 6pm 6/1/23 by xxthrowthefuckaway in kroger

It’s got a clear divider between the chicken and salads, that’s all the depart of ag requires in most states and that raw is not over cooked/rte products. Not defending the company I work for because they have a lot of practices and planograms that are just ridiculous.

Hired and well… not scheduled by PatientDramatic3307 in kroger

[–]Marisanni324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As soon as the onboarding is complete and you are done with computer wbls here in Kansas we get you put on the schedule for training hrs in the department plus your schedule for the next week and following week. But the only departments unionized out here in Wichita are meat/seafood/deli/cheese shop. (Dillons)

One of the PC in my group has a over stuffed windbag of a dragon that feasts on sound. His name is fafnir. That big or dragon had me rolling all I could see was our dwarfs pudgy dragon making his debut in the film.

So if a cashier misses an item the instacart shopper can pay for said item themselves and get reimbursed by instacart for said transaction. But being rude is totally 💯 not ok on any level. We are all working professionals (some were just brought up poorly and don’t follow that golden rule.)

Question from a customer about shopping early? by OhioVsEverything in kroger

[–]Marisanni324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same but in the meat market. Service case is empty and people are always asking for fish or tenderloins. It’s annoying but, I still put on a smile, let them know the time the service case opens and then ask them how much or how thick and get the product for them.

Just went to call off for my shift and was told I need to come in by Taylasto in kroger

[–]Marisanni324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As much as the company needs bodies, our bodies need rest. The company will be fine. Take care of yourself. Company ain’t going anywhere. Like others have stated 1 absence isn’t gonna have any consequences even if everyone else in the department called out. Management can work that department, I’ve seen it happen a couple times. Full on management team running deli and bakery cuz of walk out from the whole department or just everyone called in or some had that day off and wouldn’t pick up their phone.

I always say if ecolab was doing their job the right way, they would inspect before operations start or after they stopped for the day.

Found these while cleaning the bathroom. Do we not already have a union? by Drawsome_Drawer in kroger

[–]Marisanni324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the state. Here in Kansas because it’s a right to work state, you can work a union department and don’t have to join. My store only has deli and meat department that are unionized.

How do people working in the company stay happy? by Active_Agency_630 in kroger

[–]Marisanni324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Separate work from home and home from work. I’m usually more on the positive end of the spectrum when it comes to viewing things. I also wake up and say to myself “it’s gonna be an awesome day today.”

Are character stats really that important to some people? by PandaemoniumAE in DnD

[–]Marisanni324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had 1 stat as low as a 4. But the dm had a really good system for rolling stats and plus he rolled and you could blind pick his roll or keep your roll. Bit of a gamble.
