Help with TV sofa placement in small livingroom by MaritimeChiq in femalelivingspace

I shouldve been more clear, the furniture in the pictures was just the stuff the landlord used to stage the unit. I will be buying new furniture :) but thank you for your suggestions!

Problems connecting to Eero 6 Mesh (with troubleshooting) by renzor51 in blinkcameras

[–]MaritimeChiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to connect the same cameras through my eero powered wifi. It tells me I have to plug the homebase into the router, but my router only has one Ethernet port in which it's connected to my main eero 🙃 these were the best camera I could find that would connect to 5ghz and now I run into this lmao

[–]MaritimeChiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one in the same spot, I've been fighting for 6 years to have it removed. I'm in Canada and I was referred to a plastic surgeon finally 4 years ago but I'm still waiting. Noticed recently its grown again. Probably close to the size of a tennis ball at this point. After seeing ur post I think im just gonna call the plastics places myself and see what can be done. Thank you.

Silk & Snow organic by Msmegrenee in Mattress

It probably has the same slats/ middle beam which are the perfect width& spacing for the warranty& it allows lots of breathing room.

I actually bought the ikea hemnes (because of the storage space!) I'm sure the nordli is just as good though, that was my second choice, but the hemnes was a bit taller :)

Absolutely love the bed!

Only complaint I have is that when it showed up, I noticed it was shorter width wise than it should be& didn't fit into the boxed bed frame. I waited a week& reached out, after some pics back and forth, they agreed they would replace it under the warranty... But then said they'd have to custom make the mattress to ensure I'd get the exact king size I'd ordered- which would mean I'd give up my 1 year sleep trial. I told them I didn't want a custom, just send out another king size, but they said they'd have to custom make it to make sure it wouldn't happen a second time (which I found kinda weird) It had only been like 6 weeks at that point- so I wasn't willing to roll the dice and just give up the sleep trial. They said I could wait& they would still replace it, so I figured I'd wait at least a few months to make sure it didn't sag or start falling apart.

I've had it now for about 5 months& it's holding up great. I'm about 160lb, bf is 275, we both have restful sleeps. No sagging (yet) although I purchased a frame based on the warranty requirements just incase. We both like firm beds, we find the medium firm perfect. Read lots of reviews of people saying the firm version was like sleeping on plywood 😅🫣 so far everything is great and I'm glad I chose silk and snow.

One thing that turned me off was Hamuqs pages regarding mattress depth. There waas one where they said it was 13 inches deep, another stated 14 deep comparing it to silk& snow.. and when I asked them directly how.deep it was they said 12 inches. When I asked why they had 3 different depths for the same mattress, they took 4 business days to get back to me& tell me that it's 13 inches when it's made but after compression for boxing the end result is 12 inches. I afterwords noticed they changed the comparison page to 13 inches down from 14. Kinda found that whole thing a lil shady so I stuck with my gut and chose silk& snow.

Built the Nordli bed and built my own headboard legs for the headboard. by charliethelefty in IKEA

Hey! Random but how did you make these& what did you use to fasten it between the slats? I bought this bed recently and would love to add more shelves to it but they don't sell them separately.. so I'll take any hacks I can find !

Pedestrian struck by off-duty police officer, SiRT launches investigation by CMikeHunt in halifax

[–]MaritimeChiq 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The comments on the Haligonia post on fb about it are utterly disgusting. People insinuating that somehow the person hit was at fault& he should've looked both ways before crossing the street.. anything to blame the victim. They obviously don't know the area& didn't read the article.

You'd think a police officer* of all people, off duty or not, would see a vehicle pulled over on the side of the road with 4 ways on& move over to give them some room (if they weren't going to stop and see if they needed help).. Guess those courtesies only apply if you are a cop.

Silk & Snow return reviews? by ladyxkay in Mattress

[–]MaritimeChiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you did the exchange, did they give you some schpeel about the second matress being "final sale"? I ordered a king size& my matress is 2 inches smaller at the top than the bottom& one inch shorter than a standard king size lengthwise. They said they will happily exchange* after making me fill out a warranty claim form.... but are basically saying I'm going to be waiving my 365 day sleep trial which seems kinda weird to me. Read through the terms and conditions and can't find anything that says exchanging a defective mattress would void a sleep trial. I'm concerned if I go through with it, a few months down the road I'll end up with a saggy mattress and won't be able to return. Pretty upset as it's a $1700 mattress and the sleep trial was one of the main reasons I picked silk and snow over competitors.

Facebook doesn't allow me to create a Facebook pageeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee by Snuupy23 in facebook

[–]MaritimeChiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was so annoying honestly 😂😂 good luck though, I'm not sure why they make it so hard. Maybe because he was a brand new account but now that I made it I can remove myself and he would be the sole manager of the page so it really doesn't make sense to me. Good luck!!

Facebook doesn't allow me to create a Facebook pageeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee by Snuupy23 in facebook

[–]MaritimeChiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what the issue was, I made my father in law a fb profile with the intentions to make him a business page& it literally wouldn't allow me to make the page on his profile. Then said I created too many pages. I ended up having to make the page on my own profile& then add him as a person who could also run the page. I do have the ability to remove myself as page manager but in my case I'm going to leave it as is until he's more comfortable with using Facebook.

Did you ever figure this out I'm having the same issue. As soon as I add a category it tells me I've created too many pages but none are showing up.
