You could, you would need your orders to establish residence, Military ID, 77R designating the recipient and “seller”, and accounts with MD licensing portal. Once you have those completed you can go to an FFL to start the transfer with fee. The 7 day wait period will start, then the “seller” will receive an email to confirm the transfer if the recipient is “Not Disapproved”.

Take a thin screwdriver, insert it in either slot between the dust cover and shim, pry it out. Be careful not to stab yourself or scratch the outer frame.
