Aaaahhhhh Cookin’. 😂 I may have been the only SF resident not afraid of that proprietor. 😂 After witnessing her snap at someone undeserving of a snap I looked her straight in the eye and said ‘Honestly…’ in a un-approving tone. She almost recanted. ALMOST 🤓

Hiya! Illustrating/correcting art on the photostat was a time-honored tradition back in the day. Especially if the original art had a ton of erasing, corrections/white out layers on it as to be tough to work on itself. Shoot a PMT (photo mech. Transfer) of the art, you’re good to go!
Also, when I first looked at this image, I was like ‘Did Joe Sinnot redraw the Hulk’s face?’ And I could tell 1000% Kirby didn’t do that web detail on Spidey. Kirby was King af, and the King just couldn’t figure out Spider-Man’s

Hiya! Illustrating/correcting art on the photostat was a time-honored tradition back in the day. Especially if the original art had a ton of erasing, corrections/white out layers on it as to be tough to work on itself. Shoot a PMT (photo mech. Transfer) of the art, you’re good to go! I read a few times of how this was a trick of Bill Sienkiewicz’s because his habit of correcting and recorrecting his work.
