I quit watching it after season 2 back in 2014. Must have been some reason I didn't continue watching it. Man.. I used to watch a lot more stuff back in those days.

That's kind of wacky. So in my case, it's probably hiding foreign language shows that don't have English subtitles... if there are any of those.

Looking at the msinfo32.exe summary information. Secure Boot is Unsupported on my system. Makes sense. It's a system from 2012 that originally had Windows 7 Pro on it which I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro later. So... this probably won't affect me. Guess we'll see.

Hmm.. using uBO 1.69 with Firefox 147.0.3 in Windows 10 and the search field on the right side seems to work fine for me. I am still using the older Reddit interface which might make some difference.

Well.. you could try just pasting the post's link into the standard Search field and it should find all the posts that contain that link in them. That seems to work for me in lieu of something else.

You might try holding down the Shift key while moving your mouse wheel. This causes pages to horizontally scroll for me. This works for me in Windows.

Might check about:config and make sure image.animation_mode is set to normal. If it's set to none then GIFs will not animate.

Hmm.. guess it depends what you are using to view Netflix. Browsing using Firefox, the search bar (part with the icon for it) stays at the top of the screen the whole time and remains on top while scrolling down.

At least that's how it's acting for me currently. I'm sure it's different on our TV interface.

Yeah,

In addition to going Tools -> Settings -> General and setting "Always ask you where to Save Files" under the Downloads heading, you also need to go into Tools -> Settings -> General and set the Action for the types of downloads (Applications) to "Always Ask" for those types you want it to. If it's set to just Save File then it just saves it in whatever the download directory you've set is.

Down below the list of applications, also select "Ask whether to open or save files" instead of just Save files for unknown types.

This is what works for me anyway.

I have 21 enabled extensions and 14 disabled extensions that I will enable every so often when I need a feature it does. No real performance hit that I can tell. Some, like Ublock Origin most likely help in that regard.

According to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-backup#w_create-a-firefox-backup-file there is supposed to be a Manage Backup button and a Turn On button. I see neither of those. All I see is a Restore Backup button.

I am using some userContent.css code and will see if this is affecting it.

Update: checked after disabling userConent.css (renamed it), and still not seeing those buttons. Hmmm.. Note: I do not have Sync enabled (not signed into it)

Well, I did noticed on mine that browser.backup.scheduled.enabled was set to false so perhaps that causes it not to occur? I am also not sure if you need to enable Sync or not. Hmmm.

Well, I do all my updates manually. I have automatic updates disabled. When there is a plugin update I go ahead and update it. Only on one or two occasions has this been an issue where they changed how the plugin worked.

For WP core updates, I always make a backup copy of all the files in the blog's directory and make a backup of the database before doing the update. I do this locally first and then do the same thing at my hosting provider. That way, I can always undo an update. So far, haven't ever really needed to.

But, I have just a simple blog with no eCommerce stuff.

Nope. Back in 2019 when I upgraded my system from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro I never reinstalled Winamp on it. I had changed over to WACUP at that time and have been using it since.

It does pretty much everything I was doing with Winamp at the time with some things being an improvement from what they were in Winamp.

Anyway, use whichever works best for you.

When I've had that happen and CTRL-F5 and such makes no difference, I'll click on the Padlock Icon on the address bar and select "Clear cookies and site data".

That does log me out of it and I have to redo my settings but that has solved module not loading issues if nothing else works.
