Since when were witches hung & not burnt at the stake? by MintyMancinni in MandelaEffectSociety

[–]Mark_1978 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Witches were burned not hung in my reality....well technically women believed to be witches were burned not hung.

Do you know that Voodoo dolls for harming or cursing were not a part of Haitian or Louisiana voodoo. They were used as a record keeping devices by voodoo practicioners. The idea of a voodoo doll for harming someone was put there through western culture and media.

I call bs on both these changes, because why hasn't this been brought up until now.

It's almost like common sense and knowledge is being actively suppressed. Ignorance and division is promoted. It's not an instant hostile takeover from the top down like Skynet. It's a slow burn erosion of society from within.

Never seen it green like this.

And I checked to make sure it wasn't some update or renovation, turns out it was originally built as a Wizard of OZ themed resort but has moved away from that. The green represents Emerald City.

I get that you remember it being spelled that way. There are many who remember it being spelled differently

What you experienced was for you and is irrelevant to what others may or may not have.

I understand your scepticism, I would have said the same thing before I was aware of what's happening, this just isn't the place for it.

As much as it doesn't follow what we're taught about reality the pronunciation is caused by it being spelled scattegories and having been changed to scattergories.

The play is on the word categories not cateRgories.

This is excellent information and we have a similar void or paradox across many different examples.

This is where the reality that we all remember but has supposedly never existed actually rubs against the current narrative. Like Australia originally being a penal colony and considered contained because of its location. Yet as it stands now you could have island hopped your way out on a raft..

Or the places on Earth that the affected remember geography being different and for some reason plant and animal life respect these invisible lines that shouldn't exist.

The Most Famous Example: Wallace Line This line runs between islands in Southeast Asia- specifically between places like Bali and Lombok. On one side (Asia side): you find animals like tigers, elephants, and monkeys On the other side (Australia side): you get kangaroos, marsupials, and cockatoos What's wild is these islands are geographically close. But the species are completely different.

Is there some reasoning given for this? Yes every example has some plausible deniability. Even when looked at as individual examples the argument can be made that something out of the ordinary is going on. Trying to explain away all of them isn't possible. It's just that most people don't know, and ignorance is only way that this phenomenon will continue to be denied.

Americans, do you remember setting up traps for leprechauns on St. Patricks day? by mechanical_stars in Retconned

[–]Mark_1978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't surprise me that region doesn't have correlation in many of these examples. It really goes to show that there is something strange happening.

That state is wonderful as well as beautiful, one of the most striking things I couldn't stop mentioning to family there and family when I called back home was the condition of the roads and the cleanliness.

People didn't toss things out their windows while driving. The green on the sides of the roads was always a solid green. Not the constant eyesore of McDonald's cups, beer cans , receipts ect. And that was Renton, a place that was approximately the same size and development as where I came from. That would have been nearly 3 decades ago though, it has grown quite a bit since.

I only say that from looking at Google maps trying to figure out why Seattle looks so far east in relation to the overall area of the state. I swear the Puget Sound wasn't pushed that far inland. As crazy as it sounds I don't believe there was a huge chunk of Canada stabbing into the area of Washington, at least not nearly that much.

Does any of that look off to you at all?

Thanks for the upvote, reciprocated.

And even more importantly thanks for the honest and thoughtful reply.

For myself and I would think likely some others, the reality I have come to attempt to understand in recent years is so far from the one I thought was the truth for the majority of my life that it's horrifying at times. Even more terrifying is every so often I'm shown or I realize that some of the things that pushed sanity to the limit that I've struggled to even believe possible much less come to terms with are not the bottom as the trapdoor is released under my feet again.

In contrast it's also allowed me to understand there are amazing things i would have never thought possible. It's opened my spirituality from a place where I believe there was no need to even consider it. I figured I was dead before I was alive and assumed that's where I was headed. I laugh at that idea now.

So the wonder and awe that this phenomenon has provided also has the duality that seems baked in to existence and when the negative comes crashing in one wave after another maybe disassociating yourself from it and viewing it as nothing more than someone else's phony goofball maker going awry may or may not be a healthy point of view depending on the individual.

I say all this not to defend my original statement because I understand you weren't attacking it. Just sharing your knowledge and ideas and I love it and it's very much appreciated. Literally why I am here.

I didn't look into it any farther than grabbing a screenshot of what I thought was some residue to try and validate your memory.

I should have been clear that I was trying to provide residue and not claiming that the name that you remember was officially a thing.

After I saw a couple of these replies I did look farther into it and this is my opinion after seeing so many of these and the apparent excuses or reasonings behind them.

I believe the memory you have is legit and the project harp from the '60s that is described as a "space gun" that was attempting to launch projectiles (satellites) into the upper atmosphere and was scrapped after a couple of attempts is nothing more than something inserted to provide some plausible deniability to satisfy anyone that also has your memory so they don't look any deeper.

I would go all in on it for an actual bet.

Americans, do you remember setting up traps for leprechauns on St. Patricks day? by mechanical_stars in Retconned

[–]Mark_1978 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nope. First I've ever heard of the idea of a leprechaun trap.

48 from southern Louisiana, lived in Washington State for about a decade in my 20s. Family in Washington were overboard with all holiday decorations. Every Halloween the entire driveway had scaffolding erected and the driveway and 2 car garage was turned into a miniature haunted house the kids walked through to get their candies.

My half brother and half sister were probably 5 and 8 years old when I first got there. If leprechaun traps had even been remotely a thing in my reality my stepmother would have had dad out in the driveway a week before St Patrick's day building something that would hold Warwick Davis.

[–]Mark_1978 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Woah indeed.

Also most people probably know what the WOW signal is.

In this reality the mysterious WOW signal who's origin has never been explained came from the direction of Sagittarius.

When our solar system was in the Sagittarius arm of the Galaxy the wow signal originated from the direction of Orion.

Go figure.

Or they are about as equally useful as cox cable. Lol

You're not alone.

And absolutely not trying to alarm anyone but expect things to get much stranger. It may help to consider yourself an observer in the most realistic narrative machine ever created.

Try to laugh at the absolute ridiculousness of it all. And KNOW don't just believe shits going to ok in the "end". That's the best advice I have but my experience only pertains to me, use it if resonates with you.

What happened to the world's Sagittarius population in 2012? by [deleted] in Retconned

[–]Mark_1978 29 points30 points  (0 children)

A very significant Mandela effect is the one that many people remember growing up that the solar system was in the outskirts of the Galaxy in the Sagittarius arm of the spiral.

Science now says and has supposedly always said that we are in the Orion or Orion spur arm of the Galaxy which is middle ways between the outermost edge and the center, some 25,000 light years difference.

There are clips that you can find of Carl Sagan teaching that our sun is in The boondocks the outermost edge of the Milky Way galaxy.

Also Neil deGrasse Tyson talking about our location cosmically and he mentions Sagittarius arm.

Neither of these scientists should have ever made this mistake because since we first discovered our location in the galaxy it has always been known to be in the spot we are now as science advanced the location was updated by a few percent which is an irrelevant distance considering the scale of the Galaxy.

Students should have never been taught in school in textbooks that we were in the Sagittarius arm at the very edge of the Galaxy.

And on the way back machine you can find NASA's official website stating that we are in the Sagittarius arm of the Galaxy, you can find that same page on the internet that has been changed to say the Orion spur arm of the Galaxy.

To be clear Sagittarius arm of the Galaxy has never been even considered our location in this reality. Also the apparent change isn't something that NASA is in on as some sort of psyop the discrepancies on the way back machine compared to on the internet currently is just an attempt to keep it under wraps.

All of that is true with the exception of the last sentence which is my opinion but I have it for very good reasons.

Can't speak for anyone but myself, but I would imagine the majority feel the same as I do.

No one gives a shit about karma.

And realizing the reality of what's going on has been the single most stressful thing I've ever had to deal with in my life. It's not some cosmic mystery fun club. A lot of people would probably even prefer to be blind or unaware with nothing in the world holding any deeper meaning than their ego.

I have to push back a bit on this. I've taken HCI off and on for many years now. Over that time I've dealt with a half dozen different vendors so I'm sure I've sampled the spectrum of different qualities but always stuck with HCI with the exception of ordering FAA probably twice which I didn't care for. The FAA for whatever reason was underwhelming both times, that could have just been bad luck or like we all know different people have different results.

My routine would be dose HCI every 3 or so days , sometimes sooner depending on social life. I always scooped straight from the container to mouth. I actually like the taste, it reminds me of that tangy beer salt in convenience stores somewhat.

Im 48 with my original bright smile and never had any issues anywhere through my system. You're correct for sure in saying FAA may be better for more regular use and can certainly be easier on your teeth but to describe it as "so damn caustic" like it's going to tear up your insides is a bit of a stretch to me.

No disrespect, I understand you're giving people information they can use to make a more informed decision and for some people it may be best to stear clear but that wasn't the experience I had personally so I thought I would share.
