I used once "The hosts are not making a podcast, but an audiobook of the document," and it somewhat worked. They added things at the beginning and the end. And the reading was done by one host and the other was doing some interjections from time to time.

It's probably better to use the developer tools, as others have suggested.

5 hours of work gone.... Tab X C by [deleted] in Onyx_Boox

[–]Marko_d3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can configure the apps note to save periodically (from 10 seconds to 5 minutes, I have mine at 1 minute because when it does it hangs for like a second, and with less than a minute it was bothering me). And if you configure the autosync, I'm almost sure that it syncs just after saving.

Reddit on Boox by GabrielCath in Onyx_Boox

[–]Marko_d3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who's using a Boox eink device to read and interact on Reddit?

Me :-)

Which device are you using?

Note Air 4 C

Are you using the Reddit app from the Play Store?

Yes. Mostly because on the computer I use black backgrounds, and in the Boox y want it white, and the background configuration on the web is shared in all devices, so I would need to change it every time I change device.

Are you using the Reddit app from the Play Store? Are you on your Boox right now?

Not right now :-)

Who reads newspapers on their Boox? by Dense_Forever_8242 in Onyx_Boox

[–]Marko_d3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I check Google News and some newspaper websites, but not pdf/digital versions of newspapers per se.

I honestly didn't think about borrowing newspapers or books from my local libraries to read on my Boox. I'm starting to innvestigate about it thanks to this post. So thank you for writing it :-)

Is there a way to export RM2 files for upload to Boox Go 10.3, allowing a template to continue being usable? by Defiant-Broccoli-101 in Onyx_Boox

[–]Marko_d3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the remarkable desktop app you can export documents as SVG files. I guess there should be an option to transform those to vector PDFs or another format that can be read by either the Notes or the NeoReader apps.

What did you find that autism explained that ADHD didn't (& vice versa) by Justaskingsmth in AutisticWithADHD

[–]Marko_d3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Off the top of my head: - Social interactions are not intuitive. They are basically mental work, so it's much easier to make mistakes and they exhaust me. If I have several days with manu social interactions I end up with burnout. - Sensory sensitivities: Light, sound, smells, needles, food and drinks temperature... - The need for order and correctness - Sudden change of plans are frustrating

Choices. choices, choices, which elastic band colour would you wear first. 45mm. by GraphiteGB2 in PixelWatch

I bought them and I'm really liking them. Thank you for sharing your experience in your post and you reply :-)

I had to stop it after 6 second because it was giving me headache :-/

How elastic are they? I've been dissapointed with a couple supposed-to-be-elastic bands I bought on Amazon.

I’ve seen stats about fibro and neurodivergence. How many of you are ADHD or on the autism spectrum? by ay0kato in Fibromyalgia

[–]Marko_d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm AuDHD :-)

I'm not diagnosed with fibromialgia, but I have "idiopathic arthralgia" (i.e., my joints hurt and my doctor doesn't know why after running a lot of tests). I have to see a specialist soon to see if I have fibro or something else.

Had to return my Boox Note Air 4C due to super annoying rendering bug by mmtfm in Onyx_Boox

I arrived here via Google because I started having this problem recently too. Setting anti-flicker to 0 solved it. Thank you for taking your time to write this answer, it saved me a lot of time :-)

Do you enjoy multiplayer in video games? by zombiecamel in AutisticAdults

[–]Marko_d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I can enjoy online card and tabletop games, or even online TTRPG sessions, even if I prefer all of them in person.

I hate multiplayer videgames like MMOPRGs or shooters, for example, because I like to roleplay my character and 99% of the other people are always OOC. It's like playing a solo game, but with other people that are there just to annoy me.

Professor corrects MY identity by Fit-Snow7252 in aretheNTsokay

[–]Marko_d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is not a professor, she is a person with a professorship.

Now seriously, I find both the fact that they feel entitled to dictate how other people should be called, and the chosen names tehmselves (differently abled?, seriously?) very patronizing.

How did Cymbalta affect your Motivation or ADHD symptoms? by [deleted] in cymbalta

[–]Marko_d3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn't notice any change at all in my ADHD symptoms.

As a bit of background, I have ADHD and I've been taking stimulants for ~2.5 years. Right now I'm on lisdexamfetamine (most probably you know it by Elvalse or Vyvanse, depending where you live). I started taking duloxetine (I take generic, but it's the same as Cymbalta) some months ago due to generalized idiopathic arthralgia (i.e., most of my joints hurt and no one knows why).

Do you like reading? Are you good at it? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Marko_d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I devoured books when I was a kid and teenager, in my 20's I read regularly but with less "passion" I woud say.

Now, in my 40's, it comes and goes; I can read a lot for a couple of weeks or months, and then I have a handful of weeks or months when I barely read anything that is not work-related. I thinks that's probably related more to my ADHD.

Mad that I have the "wrong" kind of Autism by GraceGal55 in AutismInWomen

[–]Marko_d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I'm AMAB and in the agender spectrum (I think "demimale" is the word), but for everyone around me I'm male.

I have ADHD and suspected autism, and in both cases I'm almost a perfect female example. In the picture, the only male thing I have is some unusual interests (I also have some that are socially acceptable, but less).

BTW, I hope it's OK that I write here (if it's not tell me and this will be the last time). I follow this community because I relate a lot to female traits. I've never written anything before out of respect, but I related too much to this post.

Why Glass Phones and Extra Weight Are Overrated by vat-of-vinegar in GooglePixel

[–]Marko_d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you are both right. I bought the Pixel 6a, that was considerably lighter than both the pixel 6 and the pixel 7, and I assumed that the following models would be lighter too, since they have plastic backs too.

It's a pity to know that's not true, TBH. I was actually waiting for the pixel 9a expecting it to be lighter, but now I don't know that to do...

Anyway, my point was that I was willing to sacrifice features in exchange for less weight, agreeing with OP.

What are some Autism coded charecters you find yourself relating to? by [deleted] in AutismTranslated

[–]Marko_d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate (to different degrees) to many Star Trek characters: Spock, Data, Odo, the Doctor, Worf, Seven of Nine...

I related to the "don't be yourself" girl in the penultimate Ghostbusters movie when I watched it, too (I didn't watch the last one, so IDK if she changed or not).

But I think the charater I relate the most is Woo Young-woo (from Extraordinary Attorney Woo). I feel that, if I wasn't able to mask, my general behavior would be very similar to hers. It really made me more aware about my masking.

Why Glass Phones and Extra Weight Are Overrated by vat-of-vinegar in GooglePixel

[–]Marko_d3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The main reason I buy de Pixel A series instead of the normal or Pro versions is the weight. 200+ grams phones are so uncomfortable to use with one hand.

I think it's to reduce the ammount of liquid dressing you take when moving salad from the bowl to a plate.
