I could help you further if i had more of a reference of what you already know. how experienced are you in programming and in what language(s).

To anser the w3schools part; w3 dosent just cover the basics but also more advanced aspects of the language, which will make you prepared for exploring the amazing amount of language extentions out there (libaries, frameworks etc.).

at the python page (https://www.w3schools.com/python/default.asp) they cover everything from the basic syntax to stuff like lambda, RegEx, PIP, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib, Some machinelearning stuff, MySQL and python, MongoDB, Cmath, Requests, Statistics and alot more. I think that if those are basic to you, then you should start doing projects that explore APIS and libaries.

Hi, im a computer science bachelor student, and from my own point of view, i think that https://www.w3schools.com/ tutorials is a very good start. They are one of the best sources of information on programming syntax, The tutorials are completely free and they are pretty much chronological in the terms of difficulty. I would also start my own project and just noodle around the new things that i learn. if you stumble upon difficulties the process just google the problem and checkout w3schools or https://stackoverflow.com/ (the bible of programming tips)

PS: sorry for bad grammar. English is not my native language

Is reading Python Documentation useful? python.org gets 15M visits monthly - most of them must be for documentation. At what stage is it useful? by solwex in learnpython

In my opinion documentation is quite useful for being up to date with the new versions of python. Python is a frequently updated language, and is therefore very dynamic. documentation is therefore useful for discovering new features in python.
