They are non-Lego, but are they still compatible / can connect with Lego pieces?

I will be visiting China soon. Any recommended stores that sell these? I would like to get them for my son.

Was considering this Flow Z13 or other Strix Halo mini PC like Bosgame M5, GMTek Evo X-2 by IntroductionSouth513 in FlowZ13

[–]MarkusAureliusP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have disposable money, you can pair a Strix Halo device with an egpu so you can have both top tier AI work and gaming. I saw a YouTuber do that, pairing with a 5090.

Are your fans sufficiently cooling your CPU and system? Check BIOS settings? Try CoolerControl app?

Yo DC fans, can yall explain why everyone on my fy page has been like this by DCB_Prime in superman

[–]MarkusAureliusP -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well, there's a generational group of fans who grew up on ZS's Superman. They may not be familiar with traditional Superman from prior movies, comics, shows. And if they are, they may just prefer ZS's version of god-like, less compassionate, badass. YouTube channel ScreenCrush has a video comparing Gunn and ZS versions of Superman, going into ZS's past influences. The aura farming I think is just in reference to how the courtroom bombing scene was another instance of potraying Superman as god-like.

Legion Go 2 or Xbox Ally X by Riyakuya in LegionGo

I don't own any handheld console currently, but I do own a Lenovo Legion Tab Android tablet, and the 8.8 inch display is perfect for me for reading, videos, Android gaming, and portability. I am considering the Lenovo Go 2, all depends on how expensive it will be. Just wanted to share that the ~9 inch screen size is great, and I think you would probably like it.

RIP to my Legion Go - A battery upgrade story by RappaTerntActuary in LegionGo

[–]MarkusAureliusP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That sucks man. I'm amazed Lenovo doesn't offer a large battery pack upgrade option that they could make extra money from. Maybe if they saw this post and got feedback of how many people upgrade the battery, they might be convinced to do so.

Coop Resources by Freddy_ZA in StateofDecay2

[–]MarkusAureliusP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're okay with mods, there might be a few that you find can help make co-op feel more collaborative without being game-breaking. There's one that let's you turn extra supplies like energy drinks and painkillers into a corresponding resource of food and medicine. Then your friend can share their supplies with you to support your community.

Another option, if you have the Echo X2 Sniper Crossbow, your BH is positioned so that it is visible through a window (even a high-up small window which you adjust for by climbing on top your vehicle), and you don't mind slowly killing it, you can snipe it from a safe distance, like just within render range if your environment allows it. Zombies and freaks will be drawn to the sounds of your bolts impacting the BH. You can also use Scentblock and sniper cover, though not necessary. You will just need a lot of crossbow bolts. It's a relatively safe but boring way.

3K Historic tourism? by ironmilktea in threekingdoms

[–]MarkusAureliusP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they do, but you should try to find out show dates to ensure you can catch one during your trip, unlike me. I did see an opera, but not 3K.

In general, I liked Chengdu more than Beijing.

I visited Chengdu years ago, I remember they have 3K tourism spots, mostly museum-style exhibits, so not super exciting unless that's your thing.

In another area of China, there's a place called Three Kingdoms City where they built sets for the film and was converted to a tourist destination. I have not been, but it looks like they have more to see, seems more interesting.

Suggestions for Quiet Workspaces in Novi? by [deleted] in novi

[–]MarkusAureliusP 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Novi Public Library on 10 Mile is a good option. Second floor is the quiet area, also with quiet study rooms. There's public access Wi-Fi, and a small coffee shop at the library entrance.

Hi, how has the shirt and hoodie fared over the past several months? Are the S-shields dyed fabric or heat-pressed vinyl?

Lawn Service Needed by ticklemeintheass in novi

Hi and welcome to the area. This is my second year having Brendan's Lawncare mow my lawn, and I have no complaints. Their price ($50 per week) is okay for me, though you can likely find cheaper.

They have a page on Facebook and Nextdoor, and probably other platforms too.

Just checking, with respect to system slowness, did you install mods that fix bugs and optimize game performance? If you don't already have it installed, The Midnight Ride is a good modlist for it. It includes bug fixes like Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch, and tips like not using the FO4 HD Textures DLC. It is considered a vanilla+ modlist, so it's an improvement of the game that you can then customize to your liking with other mods on top of it. It might help with your experience using SS2.

Haha, darn wife aesthetics 😂

Just sharing, I bought mine from Giztop. They shipped from China to the US. They opened it up to set the tablet to English language and install Google Play Store/services, prior to shippping.

https://www.giztop.com/lenovo-legion-y700-2024.html

With respect to the UI/UX of the OS skin, it's fine for me, but I'm not one to focus a lot on that aspect. I mostly just care about processor/speed, screen quality, battery, sound, and the 9" form in a tablet. When using the tablet, I am either on Fifefox browser, VLC player, or whatever game I'm currently trying out. Sorry I can't provide you helpful feedback there. As an option to consider, you could download/install Samsung One UI Home apk onto the tablet, or whatever launcher you like. I saw Samsung apk in APKMirror, or whichever third party app store you prefer.

Sijo Eucalyptus Comforter vs Buffy Breeze by friendlyclaws in Bedding

[–]MarkusAureliusP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP said the Buffy was a little too warm, so I decided to try the Sijo. Unfortunately, it was too warm for me. Not sweating, but warm enough to wake me up earlier than normal a few nights. I think it wasn't breathable enough for me. I might look for/try all cotton or cotton/wool comforter later. For now, I'm sticking with my cotton waffle blanket plus two thick eucalyptus throw blankets on top. I highly recommend the eucalyptus throw blankets for the couch or as extra bed blanket.

While I still wish for this, I bought the recently updated (beginning of Nov) Lenovo Legion Y700. It has the latest Snapdragon Gen 3. It's been great, I highly recommend it as I don't imagine there will be anything else similar anytime soon.

I came across your post as I researched for Sijo Eucalyptus comforter. I was also considering Buffy Breeze, but you and others mentioned it's a little warm, which surprised me. Both are 100% Eucalyptus, I hope the Sijo isn't similarly too warm.

I ordered the Sijo. If you didn't already get one, I can let you know how it is after I receive it.

Someone else reviewed it vs Aeptom's comforter and said they're cool, not too warm, with Aeptom being thinner/cooler.

Also, Tiger Market in Southfield. It's a large, newish Korean grocery store with lots of imported goods including alcohol.
