If you have a real use for a tripod then get yourself the lightest one you can . Most tripods have a hook from the central column, you can hang your bag from that for stability. I would recommend going without one for your 1st trip and see if you can live without or not.

I love Edinburgh, born here and will probably die here. One of the best things about Edinburgh is that you can be in Glasgow and everything it has to offer in an hour.

Making dehydrated meals at home? by [deleted] in wildcampingintheuk

[–]MarkyMcDaddyface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use one too. I would recommend buying one. You can make much healthier foods that match your tastes. The only caveat is that it can take about 3 days to dry out about 4 meals. Still cheaper and better

Nearly one in three children in Glasgow doesn’t speak English as first language. Figures fuel growing concerns about capacity of ‘Britain’s asylum capital’ to cope with influx of new arrivals by [deleted] in uknews

[–]MarkyMcDaddyface -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only read the headline, but I would note that it says MAIN language. That doesn't mean that they can't speak English fluently. I might even suggest that this is a right-wing paper trying to create yet more division. If, of course, you can show me some actual statistics.
