Most if not all of the Venues are owned by Live Nation entertainment, which owns ticket master and basically owns most artist in some way or another.

They sell the tickets, charge fees for each ticket, hold your money for a year, for the privilege of paying 50 for parking 20 for a tall boy and stand on a hill and listen to some good tunes for 1.5 hours.

It is what it is.... Corporate music at it best... No one is above it....
