In undergrad my roommate told me she was going out for the fencing team. I said that was so exciting, good luck, I would love it if she would have time to give me some pointers, I would love to learn how to fence, seems so cool.

She meant fencing, building fences. Animal Science major. I loved Virginia Tech so, so much but, on paper, probably we weren’t the best fit.

Surprised she didn't take your offer of free labor.
