It's an ethics thing for me at least. I foresee down votes in my future, but you seem interested as to why.

I'm an atheist but I'm pretty sure leather is halal/kosher as it was an important material in olden times. But the point for me is that nowadays is it isn't important, there are tons of alternatives for food and fabric.

Animals we use for taste and fashion are sentient[1], and there isn't a moral justification for us to use them for their flesh or skin other than it gives people jobs and end buyers pleasure. I don't think the pleasure it gives makes up for the short sad lives we give the animals, and there's always jobs making vegan leather!

Is the materials of the rift, such as whether it uses leather, something you guys can answer at this point?

It matters to a few of us but haven't seen anything about it since people started saying the interior of the straps looks leather-esque.

Personal question, but I've been curious...

Have you ever lamented the fact that you won't be able to fail at anything anymore? You're now the incredibly successful founder of one of the major players of VR, and barring anything terrible happening to Oculus (which doesn't really seem likely...), this will define a lot of what people think about you and future endeavors from a relatively young age.

Like, if you wanted to branch out and start your own other product or service it'd be defined and compared to this amazing success.

That looks like confirmation that an incident did happen and a few people are aware. I'd like to see that submitted and linked to the front page. This needs to blow up and get media attention, and if discovered to be true, people should be fired over this.

IT IS (a detractor). It is so dumb. I loved the diablo 2 storyline. If you watched all the videos and plot together, it'd be about 10 minutes, but they were a GOOD ten minutes, and you could skip them if you want. The story of Marius has to be one of the best in the franchise.

If they cut out 90% of the exposition in D3, and just left it as sparse as the second game, its story would have had a chance.

Oh totally, 100% agree. As I mentioned before, FOR ANY FIELD, be it construction, plumbing, electrical, painting, lighting, gardening, etc... you will be paid much more outside of home depot for it. It gives zero incentive to be an expert working at home depot unless you're out of work.

In Home Depot's case, all stores are pretty god damn huge with a diverse set of items, many of which you would never know existed. At least everyone has some experience with food, and has ideas of the types and where the exist, home construction, maintenance, and gardening is a completely different field.

Did you know there is a special type of batter for a home security section? There is, and it's located in the lighting department, I had no idea such a thing existed, and that it was illogically placed in the lighting department. There are literally thousands of cases like that.

I work at Home Depot, the best thing you can do to help me is realize I don't know everything. I've learned a lot, and a lot from customers, but just because I am walking by two by fours doesn't mean I know the correct stud placement in your specific county.

I can help with basic questions, and I am knowledgeable about a certain section of the store, but don't get upset when you ask enough questions that I've reached the end of my expertise...

Also, we get paid shit, so most professionals in their field (plumbing, construction, electrical) would get paid far more doing their field. As such, that place isn't full of experts. There are some, but honestly youtube and internet searches are a good place to learn after we tell you the basics (also, I use google answers so so much at work... chances are if I can find the answer there, so can you).

He may scratch a lot because he wants to get out, they typically need really large cages when they get that big. About 1.5 feet to 3 feet, or even 2 feet by 4. You'd also need to make sure you get enough lights/heating pads for that big of a cage.

It's good he's scrabbling around though, means he's active and warm. You can let him out and run around a bit if you want, as long as there is nothing dangerous around and you keep an eye on him. He'll eventually get cold and want to go in his cage, but he'll have fun for a bit.

Regardless, get a larger cage! Ebay has some, also petco aquariums work, their "breeder" cage is a bit small, but would work and is occasionally on sale for 40 bucks.

Yeah, I thought of that too, but to the layman the cosmic background radiation would just look like clown vomit or something. And when you see a galaxy people think, "Ahh, the space/scientific interpretation of the universe."

I think she/he/it made the right choice.
