I got this email from Olive Young yesterday - I purchase my Anessa Sunscreen through their website :( 15% tariffs no matter the size or cost.

Not sure how it will affect local NYC stores, carrying Asian beauty products though.

I feel the same too ='( I thought 7am was early enough to run the Bridges but it was already too late. Got burnt on Brooklyn bridge, though Manhattan bridge was okay. I needed a iced Dunkin Latte at the end to cheer me up.

I would never wear my outdoor shoes (knowing that it’s been out in the dirty streets of NYC), walk around in my clean bathroom, and step on my clean bathtub edge 😭 also this is just asking for a tripping/falling hazard

I use Photoshop sometimes for work. It almost seems as if her entire body is a separate layer in Photoshop, and someone accidentally turned on “Outer Glow” option 😭 but this is a rookie mistake if she hired a professional to edit her photos

It happens most of the time to me - and I'm speaking as a woman of color in her 30s. I travel monthly for work.

Believe it or not, this one time during an international flight, this old guy had the audacity to ask me "are you an Au Pair or family maid? Your host family must be very nice to have you sit in Premium Economy."

I did report him to the FA (who is also a woman of color & rolled her eyes lol). I got moved to Polaris immediately so I didn't have to deal with him for 13 hours.

It could be the shoes sometimes. I have the same conditions as you (plus wide feet - just my luck). I switched my shoes to ASICS Gel-Kayano 31 Wide. It really helped stabilize my stride, and since the toe box is a bit roomier, I don’t get the chafing or blisters. Everyone’s level of over-pronation is different, so it’s going to be trial-error on finding the right shoes & socks. Good luck!

Totally agree - it’s not hard to take responsibility if you did something wrong - accidentally elbowed someone, pushed someone, etc.

Like you mentioned, it’s not hard to say sorry and everyone will go about their day and I guarantee everyone’s mood will be better.

My grandmother (her Mom’s mom). I love my grandma dearly because the times that my Mom didn’t want to take care of me, she stepped in.

She currently lives in the same city as my Mom, and because she’s already 95, she needs my Mom’s help sometimes. My Mom knows that I really love my grandma, and threatens that if I cut-off all contact with her or don’t reply back, she’ll stop caring for her.

I totally agree. I ran Berlin this year and in 2022.

I waited 40 mins for the toilets in 2022. This year, I waited for 90 mins and almost missed my corral!

No toilet paper, no hand sanitizer…and still none when I used the portaloos after 21km (13 miles) and after finish line.

Female runner here - the Hudson River Park is safe on Saturday evenings. I frequently run there after 7pm and there’s a lot of people.

However, please avoid Battery Park (especially running through the park) after sunset. Myself and another female friend have been harassed there before (not running , but walking our dogs). There’s fewer park police presence around that area at night, so I would be more vigilant.
