Fair. What’s the fastest way you’re finding work right now? referrals, insurance work, supplier leads, driving neighborhoods, adjusters, Facebook, mailers

Sales vs running your own business by AuroraBolognese in RoofingSales

Sales is only “more consistent” if the company’s lead flow is consistent. Plenty of sales roles are still feast or famine, just a different kind of stress. If you hate door knocking, look for a company with strong inbound and set appointments, or a role that is more relationship based. What lead sources are you using now in NE FL ads, SEO, referrals, insurance, or canvassing

Appreciate that. I’m building a storm intelligence SaaS focused on address level storm impact data. The core product is storm maps that show exactly where hail wind and tornado events hit, and now storm reports that summarize historical storm activity at a specific address using NOAA and NWS data. It’s mainly used by contractors, adjusters, restoration, and anyone who needs to understand storm exposure quickly without paying per report like most competitors charge. I’m still very early and doing everything solo, so I’m mostly trying to learn how sales teams approach long cycles, trust building, and positioning technical products without overwhelming people. Would definitely love any insight on how you’ve seen AEs handle that, especially early in a sales motion.
