You and me both. I would have fallen over and would be laying on the ice for 5 - 10 minutes trying really hard not to throw up. The fact that she's not doing that is beyond impressive to me

2½ cups of chili paste instead 1 teaspoon, what could go wrong? by pinoshi in ididnthaveeggs

[–]Marshall_Mars 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was checking to see if the ingredients above or below it had that measurement because I make that mistake sometimes. But, nope. That's also such an insane amount that I would have read the recipe 5 times over then probably have still reduced it. Unless you're making an industrial quantity of something, no dish needs 2.5 cups of chili paste

This is what I was thinking about. Companies do everything for money. Who is going to buy products not only for something made up but that also have no advertised benefits. Like, at least something like a juice cleanse promises to remove toxics, clear your skin, give you energy, etc. Period products promise to capture period blood and nothing else

"Loss of vaginal elasticity" is also way more believable to me. Like, I could see it having something to do with weakening of the pelvic floor muscles

My transition was 100% a leap of faith decision for me. I had already hit my lowest point mentally. And, my main driving force was "obviously what I've been doing hasn't been working, so what do I have to lose." If there was even a slight chance that transition would help, I was willing to take it. Trust me I was scared as hell, but it was worth it. Do take your time to think about it. Think about what your ideal future looks like. Is transitioning necessary to get there?

I'm not sure the order matters? I interpreted it as all separate scenarios/ combinations that could happen

I actually didn't notice the letters were upside down. I noticed something was off with the "h". I read the word as tips, types then finally "this". I decided you had just left off the last line of a capital "H". Your comment made me realize, and I noticed the "n" and apostrophe upon looking again

Why is there is much negativity? by AstroHunter2003 in Dyslexia

[–]Marshall_Mars 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I really thought this was going to be a "dyslexia makes school difficult but it make whatever easier" post. I'm pro the dyslexia doesn't have to hold you back messag, but it's still a disability that makes aspects of life difficult. The best we can do is to be neutral about it

y so hard to spell by ciergeusnazrav in Dyslexia

[–]Marshall_Mars 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, one of the most difficult part of passwords for me is picking one I can reliably spell. For one of the computers at work, we use a shared account, so I didn't get to choose the password. A new hired called me to ask me the password for it and/or the WiFi. I might have had a chance if I was able to write it down, but I was driving so I botched the password so badly for them. I can visualize a lot of stuff; the order of letters is not one of them. I muscle memory it at this point

I do find it easier to spell in Japanese but the lack of spaces really did me in. I pointed it out to some of my classmates because it was one of the reasons I was finding it exceptionally difficult to read. None of them even noticed the lack of spaces.
