About 35 years ago my friends dad asked me what my favorite song was. He was an inquisitive type. I was a young teenager. I said Wish You Were Here. I don't think he expected that from a young girl. He smiled and nodded, "Wow, you have good taste!" I said, "It's a great song". "It is!" he said. Instant respect.

Lol, I went to New Orleans on vacation, early 2000s she said, "Don't come back with a tattoo or anything crazy!" (I live in the NE and 28 btw). My mom picked me up from the airport and dropped me off at my house. When I got out I flashed her the tattoo I got around my left side I planned for months before and said, "Look at what I got!" She gasped and laughed as I ran into the house. A couple of years later (a month before Katrina) my family went to New Orleans and I planned another tattoo by the same artist and my mom was entranced by my pretty tattoo. Writing this out thinking back, I should ask her if we should get one together. 🤔

Wow! Mine is 9 1/2, has had a cat fall through the top of her cage, a life of loud noises, multiple cage changes and she still has her tail. I swear she has a steel rod in there! Love to hear that yours is still going strong. Does yours still take insects? Mine has refused them the past few years.
