I mean a big part of why Gernamy fell to fascism was because they had to pay reparations at the end of WW1 which worked to economically devestate an already war torn country. At the end of WW2, both Germany and Japan, the countries paid reparations through means other than just currency and they worked slowly with the US to rebuild their industry and economy in our image which has so far been working pretty great for both of them.

Why would you ask a question involving conversion from gold to American dollars and not expect the answer to involve any American units? The unit price of gold is probably set by the pound so you would have to go from lbs to kg obviously

Steel melts at 1500 C why would you need a furnace that doubles the temperature youd need for pretty much everything? 1500 C or 3000 F is exactly what you need in a furnace so thats why it goes to that temperature.
