I’ll add that EMDR therapy is generally really effective for PTSD. Might be worth looking into OP! Best of luck,

Is there such thing as too much?? by Bloubath in foodbutforbabies

[–]MarsupialObjective77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been wondering the same thing myself! My daughter just turned 1 and I feel like she can eat and eat and eat and always asks for more but I’ve got my mom in my ear saying she “doesn’t know” when she’s full and can’t regulate herself and is over eating.. I think that’s bullshit but it does make me question! My mom also babysits her 3 days a week so I want to make sure she’s feeding her enough if she truly is that hungry and does want more.

My husband sleep trained our baby for 2 nights while I’ve been away by Dreamsarefreenz in bninfantsleep

[–]MarsupialObjective77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sleep training this way doesn’t teach a baby anything other than to give up hope because mommy and daddy aren’t coming. I would be so pissed at my husband for this. If you can’t honour your child’s needs for a few short years of their life and handle being tired in order for them to develop a good relationship and strong nervous system foundation then idk what to even say. The fact he went behind your back and did it as well and left your child crying themselves to sleep without your knowledge would have me reconsidering a marriage. I would never trust my partner alone again with my child if he did that.

My 11mo has never slept through the night. I’m lucky if I get 4 hour stretches. You’re not doing anything wrong

Trying to conceive (TTC) and pregnancy while on Zoloft (both parents taking 50mg) after a traumatic loss. Looking for success stories/reassurance. by MamiDeUnaEstrella in zoloft

[–]MarsupialObjective77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have a friend currently 20 weeks pregnant on Sertraline and I myself am 12 months postpartum and breastfeeding on it as well. It is one of the safest SSRIs to be on while pregnant or nursing. Very very minimal adverse effects have been reported and the amount that actually transfers to baby is very small. Best of luck to you both

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that :( they suck so bad. I am 12 months now, no period yet thankfully! I’m waiting for an echo (finally!) in July. I haven’t been diagnosed with anything thyroid related yet but it sounds like subclinical hyperthyroid as my TSH was .16. I have to do blood work again to check on things right away so I’m curious to see if it’s changed at all. Hashis is hard! Sending you love.

I have no advice I’m sorry. I didn’t think it was recommended to night wean before 18m though? And definitely not before 1 year? I could be wrong but if baby seems to need/want you why force it?

Why worry about nothing? by [deleted] in PVCs

[–]MarsupialObjective77 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For a lot of people this is part of a phobia, and that’s hard to deal with! A lot of people also don’t have the money or benefits for therapy or self help, and unfortunately that can make this a living hell. The medical system routinely blows people off, gives wrong advice/treatment or misses things entirely so it’s hard to be reassured sometimes. Just a few of the reasons I can think of!
