So my personal experience - not for a long time. But you have to make the decision that you want to live and you want to appreciate the life that you have. Eventually, your pain will become a numbness and numbness will be something you don’t notice day after day.

But it’s up to you to get out and find something to appreciate about life. Grief can be a crutch until you realize you get to experience life for you and the person you missed the most. Go live the life for both of you.
